Having used them for years for regular outdoor pest control, which has always been fine, I decided to ask them to inspect my house for termites and rodents (our neighbor had recently encountered a rodent problem). The man who called said he was the owner and reported evidence of both rodent and termite infestation. I immediately signed and paid for a rodent clearing contract, whereby they were to clear out the old carcases and roof insulation, set traps or poison, and then they would return two or three times to check that the rodents had gone. The second stage was going to be another expensive procedure to deal with the termites, and there was a final stage when the insulation would be restored. The men came quickly, I paid the first stage in full. They never returned for the promised checks - so, despite several calls to Kilter I still don't know if all the rats have gone - all attempts to get them to fulfil the contract have failed. Also, when the men arrived to clear out the insulation, I asked them about the termites. They said they saw almost no evidence of termites in the loft, certainly nothing to justify special treatment. In short, their own staff said that the "inspector" had deceived me. Never again.

Christian and Julio completed repairs to the eaves and support post where termites had chewed holes in the wood. They did a thorough and very professional job, including painting over the repairs with paint I provided. They were courteous and worked very efficiently, while being careful with my property. They cleaned up after finishing the job. I am very pleased with the job they did!

Got estimates for termite control and wood repair. The inspector was very thorough and knowledgeable. I was happy to get both services through same company even though I got lower price quotes from another companies. When I called and set up both appointments, I was told the inspector no longer work for the company, but I was reassured that nothing will change. So I gave them credit card information and set up both services. After termite control, I was then told by the new inspector that the price for wood repair is now over $6000, triple of what I was quoted. I was so shocked, I asked to speak to the manager, MIKE. Mike told me that the original estimate was a mistake. It was only partial repair. They are not going to be hold responsible for the mistake. Mike was rude and made it very clear that he doesn’t care what happened. This is bait and switch fraud, I will report this whole experience to the consumer protection agency. Do not trust this company…..written estimate means nothing to them.
