If I had paid maybe half of what I did, I would chalk my experience up to not staying here again and calling it a loss. But having paid with taxes $140 to stay one night, I would have hoped for better. When we got to our room it smelled so horrifically musty that within ten minutes I was nauseous. We turned on the air conditioner hoping it would help and it made the situation so much worse. I turned off the AC (on a warm July day) and opened up the windows to try and air the room out. I was starting to feel so sick that I went up to the front desk to ask for a room change, a fan, or a refund. There were no other rooms available and no fans. At my questioning for a refund, because at this point I would prefer to sleep in my car as I couldn't even be in the room, the clerk went to discuss with someone else in the office. He returned with a box fan (coated in dust and animal fur) and stated he was "authorized to give it to us for one night only". I took the fan and by placing it in the window for hours it might get the musty, moldy, mildew STENCH out of the room. I was able to sleep, but between the smell, the spiders I had my husband kill in the bathroom, the grime rings on the fixtures, and other points of concern, I am still upset that it cost so much for such an unworthy space. Note to others, look anywhere else first. Their outdoor view is nice, but you can find it at many other spots in town.

The room correspond to what you can expect for a "Motel". But for that price, you can have at least a 4 **** hotel in Québec, Canada. The room was clean but the mattress was not that confortable. We came on a motorcycle after hitting the rain badly and our clothes were all wet. We could not have the owner turn the heat on to dry our gear for the next morning. Even if the thermostat was set at 80 degree the best the water baseboard could do was to bring the room temperature at 68 degree. I ask to turn the water heater up but the excuse is that it is the "COMPUTER" that decide and noting could be done for us. For the price we paid, we could at least have that. This is what makes me write a comment. We left the next morning in somewhat wet gear...

I hade a reservation there and they Helped out in a pinch. Came to town a day early and needed a room. They were able to get me a room. Even though they were busy. Thank you clean rooms excellent costumer service. Only bad thing, garbage cans are too small in the room.

Friendly staff. Nice area with great view. However the coffee pot was dirty and there were hairs on the bed and debris on the floor.
