Incompetent negligent human traffickers. I was attacked and my fathers home in venice was burglarized on Saturday night and Wednesday morning is here with still no help. They say they have no leads although I identified some of the thieves. Inhuman. Los Angeles county is a failure and nuisance at this point.

These people don't answer the phone. Why is my tax money paying their salaries. They say to talk to a desk officer on their voice line, they say that office is open 24 hours but no one picks up the phone. Open 24 hours for what? So they can not pick up the phone?? They don't want us to defund the police but why not set up community services where trained people hired can help with non-emergencies and set up a separate department vs paying salaries and pensions to police officers who don't even bother picking up the phone? I mean let's resolve this gross negligence.

Google maps gives this police station 2 stars…FOR A SERVICE THAT SAVES AND PROTECTS PEOPLE. Clearly management is incompetent, corrupt, indifferent, or all three.

Was left on hold for 94 Minutes. I called with another phone and they told me waiting for that long was "normal" and if I wanted to make a claim to come in because they "don't answer phones until we have dealt with people waiting in person" Disappointing because I was trying to report a crime.

No they don't they are way too into themselves to answer any phone but their personal cell phone!!!
Call 1877ASKLAPD it is very effective they can do the same for you regaurding dispatching non emergency response and because are not deal with a lobby full of people with needs also are able afford you time and help getting resources or information you need also.
They do. It's the front desk line. The issue is if there's a lobby full of people, those people, being there in person get priority, rightfully so. It would be rude of them, mid interview for a report, cut a Victim off and answer a phone. If you need Police to respond for a non-emergency, call 877-ask-lapd. That's non-emergency dispatch, not an Officer at a desk taking reports. Hope that answers your question! 😉

Print out email. Go to police station. Request a report. They determine if the incident is reportable or they'll get advisement from either a detective or supervisor or both and title it or advise you on your next steps
Just fireworks...nothing else to be alarmed about..but thanks for asking
You can make a report online at http://www.lapdonline.org/home/content_basic_view/60409
I'm sure they are helping hundreds of other people. If it's an emergency, call 911. If not keep trying.
Use the LA 311 app. It will have grafitti removals
You should contact the court house for a new copy to get signed off.
