Took my wife here and I understand they need to constantly tell us how important it is to breastfeed. I agree Breastfeeding is important to my baby. My first time being here me and my wife were in a room with people expecting and people who already have kids. It was nice to hear other people's experience with there children but I do not like the fact the they allowed one lady to push her religion on everyone it made me and my wife uncomfortable this was one issue we had (nothing against religion we just hate being told we need to pray and thank god sorry I thank my doctor and wife for this baby). Now my wife came in today to talk about getting a pump to help the baby eat while she is away. They had told my wife over the phone she did not need to bring the baby (Our baby is 6 days old now) which we were happy about because I'm worried on taking my baby anywhere because I don't want her getting sick. So the workers at the WIC made it a whole hassle for my wife to get a pump. Asking her if she was doing it just to produce more milk (really???) she explains to them the reason and still they kept insisting maybe because the baby was not latching (even though my wife explained we were taught on latching at our hospital and our issue was not latching) we only needed the pump for times my wife is away from the baby so we can make sure she gets fed. End of the story is my wife got her pump but again a bad experience at this location
