Apparently if your are Black/African American and are being harassed by and called racial slurs by a non black person of color, you are the aggressor. The employees are not professional and this is not a safe space for Black women with children. Please explore other options.

Dad left long ago. Mother came seeking help. Sometimes there is a reuniting. Every case is different. Just some facts; there are 99 moms downtown at URM, 10 dads, and 258 kids. Those are the beginning steps. Neighbors required us to only serve moms with kids at Hope Gardens. Blessings

Yes if you have 4 kids or more yes u get two if not just one. Similar ri a hotel room. U will need ur own mini fridge if u want cold foods.
They don't help you get your kids back but if you have family reunification with your kids your worker can help you get on the waiting list and once you get in being there is definitely a good place to get them back. They have reunified family there
She has to be homeless if she has a dcfs then she could ask her social worker for more info

You need to go through Union Rescue Mission in LA before you can be sent here. They will decipher who qualifies and when.
It's more of a sanctuary. I heard the kids here are so well behaved & it's likely because of how much their moms learn from this haven. It seems like such a great program! The rules are for everyone's protection. If you want more freedom, you'll need to have more responsibility.
Unfortunately, everyone needs to go to Union Rescue Mission first before qualifying for this place. It'll be worth it once you can get in though! Hang in there!
It depends on where you are. Hope Gardens is only for women with children. There are other shelters and housing facilities that can help you.
