My husband and I have stayed there for 27 years, when Debra and Jim owned it. We celebrated every anniversary there with a toast at 8:00 pm sharp at Six Pence. Beautiful tradition. Can't this year, new management. Two night minimum with a stupid price. Big weekend up there I understand, but the personal spirit of the place is GONE! SO DISSAPOINTED!

We had never previously been to Blowing Rock. The town was amazing and our stay could not have gone better at this place. We stayed at the Cabin with Loft. It has everything you need for a family. The cabin, even though on Main Street, feels like you're away from the hustle and bustle. Being able to park at the cabin and just walk anywhere was priceless. We did not use our car for the entire stay. Impeccable landscaping around the property as well. The customer service from everyone was top notch.

We stayed in the Maple Cabin. Very clean and private. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. The gas fireplace was so nice. The road up is steep with sharp switchbacks but we made it with little problem. Check in at the Inn was easy and the young lady at the desk was very nice and informative. I highly recommend Mountainaire Inn & Log Cabins.

The location is perfect. Daily housekeeping was an excellent surprise and so appreciated!! Staff was very friendly. The only suggestion I would make is to provide an in room coffee maker and mini fridge - that small upgrade would make a huge difference in convenience.
