Absolutely stunning scenery. Beyond delicious food. Drinks to die for. I absolutely would be back and can not wait to eat this delicious food again. Delicious fresh oysters and the Au Jus is the best rib eye sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Melted in my mouth and made me crave more. Cleaned my plate!

Beautiful view of lake Minnetonka. Super crowded, but the hostess was able to find us a seat right away. Food was spectacular. We had the crab cake for starter,, then sea bass,, cioppino, and mushroom gnocchi. Our waiter (Steve) was very attentive. We wanted to experience the bar foods, but unable to because the policy is that you must be sitting in the bar area to order from bar menu or take advantage of happy hour "disappointing". Well, I guess we'll get there early next time. The dining area was comfortable. Delicious cocktails. The biggest surprise was when a train went blazing by outside the window. That was super cool to see.

I will go out of my way to come back. Being that the restaurant is by a lake you would expect a view but not many restaurants nail the internal atmosphere like COV Wayzata has. You can tell they put in time every season to keep it fresh. The hostess was incredibly kind and accommodating. Our waitress was amazing. The food is unreal good. The views are amazing. We were fortunate enough to be there while a person played the piano. This will be worth every moment and dollar.

Excellent service with yummy food! Ive tried their Lobster roll, cauliflower and salmon! All delicious. Looking forward to coming back and trying more. Keep in mind there will be a wait most of the time, esp for a shaded area outside. Patio is DOG FRIENDLY!! So bring your pups and then walk around the lake with them. COV also provides dogs with a water bowl and ice if you ask.
