This is the best hospital and community for cancer patients. They treat their patients with care and respect. Wonderful doctors and Great follow up. It’s easy to get help when you need it. I keep the best insurance so that I can continue my care at City of Hope
Theresa Mignonne Daniels
Compassionate, Highly Trained and Experienced Medical Experts, with Teams that make you feel comfortable from the time you are greeted by the Valet through Registration, and introduced to your personal Guid who gives you a tour while accompanying you through Triage, to have Blood drawn by precise Lab Technicians, then to the exam by the Expert Oncologist, and to the skilled Radiologists. Everyone at City of Hope Duarte worked to minimize anxiety and maximize comfort of the patient. They are the Best!

If you mean, do they use stem cells AS a treatment, yes they do.
Well it's a cancer center. So if you are a cancer patient. And have insurance. Well. Yes. If your insurance is p.p.o. option for treatment there are better than if you have hmo. Which requires a referral. It's not a typical hospital. Where they treat you for general, surgical procedures. Google the hospital website. Lots of Info.
If any tell hospital attends go to Long Beach memorial in Long Beach CA
Yes I believe so sir
Dr. Patel is wonderful!
They usually are. The more reputable doctors like Waissman and Mortimer may have a longer wait, but they have many excellent physicians.
I'm not sure. I would call the main office and check.
Great question Robyn, please contact the front office (951) 898-2828 and they may be able to help you answer this question.
Yes If you go down foothill you will need to go down Buena Vista and then duarte.

Don't wait. I'm successfully fighting Stage Four Carcinoma of the Lung at COH. Got first diagnosis from VA. Got second diagnosis at COH. All COH docs and staff are top notch. My Drs. are Tom Gernon, surgeon, and Erminia Massarelli, Chemo Doc; the best.

Hi @Concha, sorry but we do not sell any beds or equipment
Your surgeon and his/her team should give you a complete understanding of what you need to do.
Hi Eduardo, unfortunately, we do not have a traditional emergency room
Short of going into patient affairs I'm not sure. They like all hospitals have a waiting room with a volunteer who tracks when a patient goes from surgery to recovery. That the department you should be in touch with also was it in patient or out patient surgery 2 different departments 2 different buildings.
It's the building to the left of the fountain, which is Brawerman, and the valet parking station.
Agree to all of the above responses. You might investigate Kerlin-Jobe for orthopedic issues.
the doctors would often put me on restrictive diets... to measure specific results... so just ask before you bring any outside food in to your hospital room...
The specifics of the condition being treated will often dictate visiting hours. Call the on-duty Charge Nurse for your loved one. They can tell you visiting hours. They are very kind and helpful. I have never seen a hospital that rivals them in patient and family care. Good luck.
Monday thru Fridays is the best days go
They take such impeccable care - they will give a full explanation of all the entire financial aspect. All of your questions + available options will be addressed. They are really great!

Just given them a call or any of the hospitals the specialis in treatment like UCLA st jude and they will help you my best wishes.
Yes she can. She can seek a 2nd opinion. Have copies of her med records. Call the Women's Center at C of H. They will take it from there. I have been treated by both Kaiser (2003) and C of H (2014 to present) for Breast Cancer. Both are good. Always get a 2nd opinion. Chemo has many forms: Herceptin for 1 year is often recommended...no hair loss, no nausea, and just a bit tired sometimes. Best of luck to you both, and tell her to stand strong, think strong. She's in good hands.
C of H is for Cancer, and has been treating me since 2015, they are awesome! but try Altman Clinical Translational Research Institute at University of California, San Diego Movement Disorder Center. Or, Parkinson's Institute & Clinical Center Hope this helps!
Yes the do. My wife is being treated there.
I know that they take state medical insurance I don't know exactly what they have but call them they are a wonderful Hospital
They have a emergency number or triage but you should have a appoiment date. Search on google and give them a call and the name of the person you spoke with for your records.
They specialize in cancer treatment. Among. Other things. But cancer treatment is the main. Goal.
I have no idea. But it is in the ranking between 500 to 1000 employees.
Yes, you do.
