I just found out about a love one being admitted to this state hospital. So how do I go about finding his social worker's telephone number?

My brother was there for a bit and he did not have complaints. The staff seems caring. I liked that we could take homemade or any food from outside and visits any day of the week.

You can always call Metropolitan State Hospital and ask if your brother is one of their patients you may also check other state facilities I know my son has been missing but he's on the streets so I don't know for your brother. I will keep him in my thoughts. Good luck to you Greg.

My son has been at Patton S.H. for about four years.He was incompetent to stand trial but he maxed out his time and then patton got a LPS conservertorship on him about nov.2017 as gravely disabled., he stayed at patton but they transferred him to a different unit, which was also an ITST unit. Well I just called the patient line and they said that hes not there anymore, that he was sent back to county.Hes not there so it means they have sent him to another facility, and theres no way I can find out where he is. He would never give permission for the doctor or counsler to talk to me about him, even though we talked on the phone and I visited and sent money to him nobody will , or they are not allowed to tell me where he is . I am devastated and I need to know does anyone know the names of the facilities he may have been sent to and does anyone have any patient phone number for other facilities that take LPS conservortorship people. He is form San Bernardino County originally. thankyou

Depends on the medical issue. If you are listed on the form for people to give information to, you will be able to get this information over the phone.

I don't know about your case but in my case since I was last there in 2005 when I called to get my records the told me they were in archive so then I asked if they could get them from out of archives and it only took 2 weeks. So like I said I don't know about your case but you could always try archives.

Metro is for court ordered treatment

Ordered by the Judge to get competent to stand trail, and or many more. However, it has to be a court order!

You can't, Metropolitan state hospital is only for court orders meaning inmates. Go to any regular hospital for self administering.

This is ridiculous-how can anybody with such (mental) disability be expected to pass any type of test ? How are they suppose to get themselves out of that HORRIBLE facility? It sadness me that these humans are placed there and given so much medication to the point they are unable to function on their own anymore. Think about it! How are they suppose to get any better being locked in there and medicated all day.

The staff have people who are over them you need to ask for a supervisor or the head of the department or even complain to the medical board

This is a state mental hospital. For criminals. I hope that you and your family find help.

There are pay phones, I used to call, but now they don't work. I write, now but I don't know, if he gets the letters. When the patient is released, if they ever are, they go back to their county jail and maybe, to CONREP but can't live with family, unless it's in the county, they got in trouble, at. Something needs to change.

My daughter is in there, they only allow you to order and have it shipped there from Walmart
