G Money
all they do is take take take. they took half my check pluses they take the money in the bank for rent. very one-sided not made for men. it helps support dead beat women who pop out babies for a paycheck. it's a big joke for equal rights.

The one star review speaks enough for my experience with this agency. I have listed some advice to hopefully save others from dealing with their incompetence. Please keep a record of your communication with the agency including the name of the person you spoke with, what was discussed and the date. If you are having issues with the agency, file a written complaint. If the supervisor who received your complaint is not able to resolve your issue, request a state hearing. The below is copied from the agency's website regarding complaints and state hearings.... Local Agency Deadline for Complaints • You must file your complaint within 90 days of the date you knew, or should have known, about the subject of your complaint. • The local child support agency is required to respond to every complaint – in writing – within 30 days. • If a complaint cannot be resolved within 30 days, your agency may extend the time for resolving a complaint up to a maximum of 30 additional days. If the period for resolving a complaint is extended for any reason, the agency will mail a notice stating the reason for the extension. • If your local child support agency does not respond to your complaint in writing, you must request a State Hearing within 90 days from the date of your first written complaint. State Hearing Forms to request a state hearing are available below or you can get them from your local child support agency. Instructions for requesting a state hearing are included on all complaint resolution forms, and your agency Ombudsperson will help you complete the forms correctly. If you get a state hearing, you will be notified of the date, time and place of the hearing. If you are unable to attend, ask for a new hearing date or for the hearing to be held by phone. Only the following issues will qualify for a state hearing, according to California Family Code section 17801(a): Denial of child support services Child support services required by federal or state law, regulation or department letter have not been provided within a reasonable time, or in the manner required by law Incorrect or missing support payments Incorrect calculation of the amount of arrears owed Decisions to close a case

My daughter age 28 was with me and my family her whole life and her mother is still listed as her custodial parent even though she committed welfare fraud and lost her parental rights, so what does child support services do they come after me the father who WASNT A DEADBEAT DAD and every time I tried to get them to fix this all they wanted was more money .. this place has robbed me for thousands and never cared to even look that they had been wrong.. the system is broken and they have only done damage to me and my daughter who would have got all the money they've stole from me but has never received a dime from them .. it makes me sick to know that they really don't care about the kids they are supposed to be helping and they only care about putting money in their pockets..

I have been struggling for years to have child support raise my child support amount, but I would constantly get the same response from Sonoma county where I started my case. I was tired of hearing “unfortunately we can’t do more” and I did not want to accept that response. I came into the Solano County child support office and explained to them the situation of my case. The representative was very knowledgeable and advised me what to request since I was in the process of a modification request. I did exactly what she told me and my support amount was raised! It’s not the ideal amount, but it’s better than the amount I was receiving before.

Yes
They do this if the children are also on county services, or so I'm told.
