I am genuinely impressed by the economics of dollars stores. They have some surprising items that are equivalent to others in regular stores that cost many times more. When you are putting together a party for the kids or buying the stuff they need for crafts or school activities, this place is a must. Many it's for the house, the kitchen, personally hygiene. I have found pink Himalayan salt for one dollar, and that includes the grinder! My last two kids were announced by pregnancy tests bought for one dollar here. Cheap shaving cream to use as a "reactive" target at the range. Fantastic. And the associates are extremely helpful and nice. Toys that - albeit not the most polished - last years and some are among the favourite for my kids. Everything for one dollar. I do not know how they do it.
