Stopped by with my family for fathers day brunch and was impressed. Not only did we not have reservations, the wait wasn't that bad. The brunch was delicious and wife enjoyed the mimosas. Definitely recommend that anyone stop by for a quick bite to eat or a nice sit in.

This place is amazingly cool and family owned so you have to understand there’s a certain level of quality in this is not a fast food type of place so you want to give them time because each meal is made with care. they’re so popular that one of my favorite radio stations had their Cinco de Mayo celebration here! I found my experience here to be incredible I got to meet the owner and his entire family and they are incredibly awesome my server Diego was on point didn’t miss a beat having to deal with over 60 people before 7 AM that dude is a champ the staff inside were incredibly friendly I had to have the breakfast burrito let me tell you they make sure that you get a breakfast lunch and dinner burrito all in one lol the portion is incredible the salsa handmade and delicious I would drink from a paint bucket if I could… Everybody else that had Carne Asada and other different Dishes and only wonderful things to say so every plate that was taken off the table it was guaranteed to be cleaned! Show up here and eat and you won’t want to leave!

Tasha was very polite and courteous will taking our order. The Hollenbecker burrito had that classic ELA Chicano flavor I grew up knowing a a kid back in the days. Modelos were nice and cool. It was a pleasant lunch. Will definitely be back soon

I saw they have karaoke Thursdays from 8pm til 11pm. I tried calling them several times and they never answer.
They are the family. More authentic! The old one sold to Asain family owned.
I think it's still close. Last week my husband and I went they were still close.
Inside info: there was a family dispute & some sort of business separation where the "Hollenbeck" signature name stays only with the Boyle Heights location but at Crossroads, it's the same dish by a different name. Sorry, don't know the replacement name. Anybody?

You need to call them and ask this place is not very big inside.
I am sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I am not sure about your question. I believe the restaurant side only holds approximately 60 people max. I am not sure how many people the bar side (which has outside seating as well) of the restaurant can accommodate. Which means in essence you will be renting out the restaurant. You will want to call tomorrow morning for sure to get your answer. However with all things being said, I do believe that you will find the owners will do everything they can to accommodate your request. I wish I could have been more to you. My thoughts an prayers go out to you and your family.
