I paid for an expedited passport renewal so I can have my passport within 15 working days and it's almost 2 months that it's taken and still haven't received it. Last week they told me that they received the renewed one but it's been 10 days since I called and haven't received it in the mail and it's only 2 days that it takes from LA to SF!! So why did I even pay for the "Rush" fee in the first place!? It's better if they told you the truth: It is more than 15 business days. When you call it's hard to get through the person responsible, and they get to the office late and close early. I think if we are going to have just one Consulate for the whole West Coast it should have more staff and a better schedule!
