the unprofessionalism, unorganized, non-responsive, rude and inappropriate service here, time and time again is mind blowing. You represent a country and should be ashamed of yourselves. I've not only have had countless unpleasant experiences here but have witnessed mistreatment of others young and old. Not having enough resources to keep a properly working consulate is one thing but having unorganized, unprofessional and inadequately trained and poorly informed staff is another thing. Be prepared to ask one question to 10 different staff and get 10 different answers! I am beyond disappointed and done being polite.

The workers were so nice and helpful. We went to Armenian Consulate all the way from San Francisco and they managed to help us in any way they could, they fit the time for us so we won’t have to go back all the way there. Thank you for your work and we appreciate everything

They were very polite and answered my questions fully and gave great detail. I had a number of questions and assumed the person answering would get annoyed at some point, but instead she told me that that's why she is there and it's her job to help as much as she can. Great service, great experience.

Make sure you have several weeks to run after staff and leave voicemails because no one will help. On top of that the front office is exceptionally rude and unprofessional and she called me a liar when I told her the appointment line was full. Good luck!

Yeap! That's how they work. They never pick up the phone, and mailboxes are full. The only way to do anything is to go there in person. And, good luck with their business hours (no Saturdays): 9:30-1:30. Recently, they added 2:30-4:30, but still, a person with regular 9-to-5 job has to use their vacation or sick days (and you hardly ever can finish your business with only one visit). So, Good Luck!

How much I need to pay for certificate of criminal recoed
I traveled back to Armenia without it, nothing happened, they just asking to get it before you leave, normally it's 10 minutes to get the stamp renewed
Go to consulate 9am-1pm, present your current passport, have about 140$, they will take your picture, new passport will arrive about 2 months later
No, you don't need it. Enjoy your travel
Hi Emil. You can make an appointment at https://laconsulate.com/
Visit the Consulate of Armenia
You or your parents can order it from Amazon.
Either you should give someone authorization to proceed in Armenia or apply to consulate and let them do by official channels.
Do you have your Armenian passport?
Call consulate and they will tell you what to do.
I leave in Sacramento. I cannot be at the apartment in person. Is that OK?
I have no idea about that. I vizit Consulate for change my passport.
I know there is a way to get Dual US-American Citienship-- I believe you would need an infant baptism paper for yourself from the Armenian Apostolic Church and papers proving Armenian heritage. Another option also is short term visa or you can also buy a 10 year visa to Armenia when in Armenia at the Embassy or passport office.

They won't allow you to Azerbaijan if they found out that you visited Armenia
You don't need a Visa US Citizen can go to Armenia with no visa.
You have to to and apply at the Embassy, I believe there is $150 fee involved. They are open every day 9am -1pm for documents submittion.
