I have rented often from Enterprise. I rented a car on Friday March 13th for the weekend to drive to Branson Missouri. I had mechanical problems with the vehicle. I called to get a replacement vehicle on Friday night at 8pm. Was told I needed to drive this vehicle an hour back towards the way I came to trade for another one. I wasn't feeling safe driving this car so I refused to drive it. It's Sunday morning I've been in Branson all weekend with no driveable vehicle and now I'm going to have to check out of my hotel room and still haven't gotten a replacement car. I've spent hours on the phone with different people and still haven't gotten any service or anything from them. Do not understand why.

I tried making a reservation online but the website kept telling me there was an error, so I called the local office and made the reservation they told me the price and everything was set. 2 hours later they call my husband to confirm and what not. They then tell him about the deposit on the car that has to be paid when you pick up. This was not told to me when I made the reservation so I called them back to find out what could be done since I had other things planned for that money. They would not work with me at all and wouldn't even apologize for not informing me. But since I needed the car I went ahead and got it paying the $200 deposit they said would be refunded as soon as I drop off car. They told me they were open the next day at my drop off time and will refund my money. I had no problems with the car, great experience there. Then I get back and go to return the car. They were closed and were not open till 3 days later! So I did not get my money back until 3 days later when they finally opened and inspected the car. It was a horrible experience with the service, I am very disappointed with them and do not plan on going back..

Told the manager that my insurance had approved one more day of rental on the car in order to cover the return day. Manager assured me I would receive a phone call letting me know how much my total bill was once they received the information from my insurance. No call was received by me. My account was still charged the full price for the return day. I will be calling as soon as they open

Under current American law, all you need in order to drive in the USA is a valid driving license issued by your country if you will be in the USA for a maximum of 3 months. A foreign license to drive in the United States will be considered valid in 49 states, except for Georgia, which requires a US driver’s license for foreigners, known as an International Driving Permit (IDP). In every other state, your foreign driver’s license, together with your biometric passport for the USA, are sufficient documentation for you to drive a rental car.
