We chose Barnes Solar after researching several of the finest solar providers in our area, and we are delighted we did. The job went just as the sales representative said, and the cost was exactly what the written plan stated. Every step of the journey, we were notified by email. Obtaining funding for the system was simple and painless... all was done electronically with the help of Barnes. When it came time for our installation, we were informed that there was a scarcity of our chosen panels, so they upgraded us to the next highest rated panel, which produces more energy per panel, at no additional cost. The installation proceeded according to plan. The installers arrived on schedule and got right to work. The employees and how swiftly and efficiently they put the panels surprised me greatly. It took a few days longer than necessary to get the documentation transmitted to Coned once the inspection was completed, but after it was done the next day, we got the OK to turn it on from Coned. Since then, everything has been OK. We paid $143 for electricity in September and $166 in August before our system started producing. So far, we've saved over $150 every month, and our system hasn't even been turned on for the highest-producing summer months. I'm excited to see how our system performs next summer. Barnes Solar  has surpassed my expectations.
