Cool abandoned mineral mine.

Ingersoll mine produced a few minerals. Feldspar, tantalum, and beryl, mica, quartz. The mine had investors that tried to re-work the tailing piles in 1981. This was a short lived attempt. I worked there in 1981 for $5.50hr. I’m sad to see the old building falling apart again, but happy to be part of the Ingersoll Mine history.

Not sure who owns this property but there are no trespassing signs and signs for cameras on the premises. It is really a shame that people have trashed this abandoned mine, as we went there to explore the history of the area, learn about …
