What happened to this farmers market? Hardly any vendors! Half of what it was last year.

Very small, maybe 10 stands max and only one is produce, another one have these homemade spreads, tamales stand, and then some jewelry stand and other artisanal goods, mostly nothing essential. I guess it’s cute if you’re already around or live nearby, but for me there’s no reason to come by again. I did expect more and thought it would be bigger. But plenty other farmers markets in town.

This is my neighborhood farmers market and yes it’s tiny but there are some great vendors. The fresh produce is always good, the fruit & nuts stand is solid, Boyle n Batard is a newer bread vendor I like, Gya organics dry shampoo powder is great, Black Belly spice rubs are really good. Unfortunately I realized after my most recent purchase at Twisted Bakery that the vendor is a Trump supporter (I only noticed her “Let’s Go Brandon” t-shirt after my purchase). I’m thoroughly disgusted and will never purchase from her again. Not that it matters to me anymore, but her baked goods are fine, but certainly not amazing. I strongly urge the organizers to consider how her wearing that kind of message impacts the people trying to enjoy their Sunday and feel safe in their neighborhood while supporting small businesses.

Vendors are so nice, and the guys that organize it are so friendly. I love shopping as much as selling! I got some beautiful rock and crystal yesterday. New vendors every week. Come visit.
