Super nursery. Great diversity and quality of plants. We are working to convert to a more drought tolerant yard and they have a fantastic selection. Got a great start on this project here.

Best nursery for all your gardening needs. Great selection of cactus and succulents.
Angela Likavec
A favorite nursery to go too. Always busy, Their plants are healthy, lots of variety and help. Very knowledgeable, plenty to choose from pottery, water fountains, garden art. Stocked well with whatever your garden needs

My wife loves this place, she asked to go once every couple weeks. Dogs are allowed and they even have watering dishes and dog poop bags on sight in case your dog makes a mess. They have a gigantic selection of all sorts of plants, they have a really good selection of succulents, herbs, and tons of fruit trees. I am going to be returning here soon to purchase a multi grafted apple tree that I believe has six different variations of apples. They sell multiple types of grafted plants I have seen apples, pears, cherries, and I believe I have even seen a couple of mixed citrus trees. It is about 90% outdoor aside from the insecticides and the cash registers. We all come here just to Window Shop and look at the different plants it is a nice place to spend about an hour just walking and looking

I was recently there got a bunch of tomatoes. I recall them having some but of course stock varies by location. I've found the roseville location to be the best one! Hope this helps.
Yes. You may pay more at Green Acres than you'd pay at Lowes or Home Depot, but the quality is magnificent. And, best of all you are shopping at a locally owned business!
I thought they would have been next to the berries so I dont think they do but they do have a lot of berries
No
Yes we do. Thank you for checking with us.
Hello Stuart. Thank you for checking with us. The largest bale of peat moss we carry is 2.2 cu ft. It is currently $17.50.
Call then and ask, this question goes only to people who have shopped there, not to the store.
Yes
Call them
They probably don't have pandan plants since this is a tropical plant and it requires ideal temperatures to grow. The temperature in the Sacramento area are too cold for most tropical plants.
It would be best to call the store and ask them directly.
Hello, I'm sorry I dont work for Green acres.
That's what I would do until after harvest. Transplanting it now will cause stress on the tree and possibly make it drop it's fruit. Replanting it in a larger pot rather than in the ground will limit it's growth potential also.
I'm a customer, not an employee so I don't know. Best thing to do is call them.
Yes. I went a week ago and I saw some.
Absolutley they due!
Good question, havent seen one before but they do have electric carts.
Yes they do!
Keep checking their website for new items on sale.
I do not work there. But, I'm sure they can help you.
The store staff has to physically check that would be your best bet to give them a call
Yes we are open on Labor Day. Come by and let us help you make your gardening and landscape dreams come true.
We do carry that plant. We always suggest calling the nursery before driving out to confirm current inventory or place it on a paid hold. Stock can change quickly with contractors who will swipe up a large group of trees and shrubs at once. Hope this helps!
Hello Shirley, we have access to 15 gallon Weeping Willows for $80 and 24" box Weeping Willows for $285. We would need to special order the 24" box. You can check with the store directly for current availability of the 15-gallon-sized trees. The number there is 916.381.1625. Thank you for thinking of us!
No we do not carry water plants
Hi Jose, it will depend on the size. The 1 Gallon Cordyline 'Electric Pink' is $20 and the 2 Gallon is $32.50.
Hi Carol, we do deliver. Here is a link with more information. https://idiggreenacres.com/pages/delivery
Hi Joy, we don't currently have that variety.
Hi Kolsche, we don't currently have those.
Hi Monica, If you go into the nursery there is a board by the contractor sales desk with local contractors business cards. You are welcome to come on in and check that out😊
Hi Alix, that is something we carry. You can always call the store directly and they can tell you what they currently have in stock. You can then ask for it to be placed on hold.
Hi Marci, Thanks for checking with us. In general, and depending upon your area, lilacs like full sun to afternoon shade -- depending on the specific variety -- and Burning Bush takes full sun to partial shade. We do offer those plants, but for accurate stock checks it is best to call the store directly. Things can change rather quickly. Also, they can arrange to hold items for you when you call. .
Hello Jerry, We are open regular hours on Memorial Day. 7am-7pm. Thanks for checking with us!
Hi Andrew, Yes you can, depending on the plant. If you are planting orchids or succulents, you will have better success with orchid mix or succulent mix. But for all others, the potting soil is just fine. Thank you for checking with us!
Hello Kou, We do carry Strawberry Trees. They are Arbutus undeo and Arbutus 'Marina'. Available at all locations. For faster responses, please feel free to reach out to our stores directly. Thanks for checking!
You are asking Google community not Green Acres. Even if they sock it I would still call. Rose's can be shipped bare root if not, buy online.
Hi Lois, the tropical varieties come in as we get a little warmer. A good time to check for those is around the beginning of April. Rose of Sharon come in around the end of February. Thank you for checking with us!
Pampas grass is considered an invasive weed. There are lots of lovely grasses, many of Them native to CA that would be better choices. Do some research online before you plant something bad for the ecosystem. I'm sure green acres would be happy to recommend alternatives.
I saw some the last time I was there.
Yes they do. They had some large ones on sale last week.
Probably but you should call them to find out.
Yes
Call them and ask, this question goes to people who have shopped there, not to the store.
This question does not go to the nursery, just to people who have shopped there. The elk Grove website has a link to tree preservation and protection with a contact that you can ask about trees in elk Grove. Or you could just visit the nursery.
yes we do.
I saw a lot of dwarfs this spring, including some multi varieties. I don't know what they have left.
I think she means neem oil. Also there are sticky yellow traps you can place near infected plants. To speed up the process disturb the plant so they fly and then land on the trap.
Call them and ask. This question goes to people who have shopped there, not to the store.
I recently purchased a fig tree with lots of fruits onit. It is in a very small pot. If I replanted the fig in a much larger wine barrel will I loose all the fruit on it?
Yes we do! We have a couple options- the Silver Dollar Gum in 5g runs $40. Come in the store and we can help you!
Hello, we offer lots of organic veggies and herbs from local growers. Unfortunately the Aloe Vera plant is grown by our succulent and houseplant growers. Until our veggie and herb suppliers start growing Aloe, there is not a way we will be sourced with organic Aloe. Thanks so much for your interest!
Hello! We carry a few varieties of bog plants (those that can be potted and sit in water), but we do not carry floating pond plants. Thank you for checking with us!
Hi Mary Ellen, It looks like our Sacramento and Folsom locations have them in stock at the moment. And they are on order with the other stores. A beautiful salvia! Thank you for checking with us!
Yes
Call them, this question goes to people who have visited the place, not to the business.
Call the store, this question doesn't go to the store, just to people who have shopped there.
I believe they do, but it isn't their speciality.
I remember seeing Rainiers there a month ago or so, but I don't recall if they were dwarf variety. Seems likely, though.
This question does not go to the store, just to people who have shopped there. I have not seen greenhouses there, but you should call to be sure.
I don't work for them. Good quetion, but I don't know the answer. They do have a pretty good selection of organic pest control products. You might want to try calling them directly with your question.
give them a call
I'm sure they do
