Paid 1000$ + application fees as a deposit for booking an apartment at Lynhaven. GF (also my roommate) got laid off a couple of days later so we decided to reconsider our moving plans and cancelled the application 3-4 days after submitting it. Made multiple requests to get a refund on the 1000$ deposit but the request fell on deaf ears. Later got an email that we can't get a refund because it goes against 'fair housing'?? what does that even mean? they basically charged us a 1000$ fee + 110$ application fees to hold the apartment off market for a couple of days. Very insensitive from the Lynhaven management. P.S: We actually wanted to wait a little before booking this apartment but the leasing agent on the front desk told us that the 8 week free offer would end the next day so we had to make a decision super fast. In reality, the offer is still up (been more than a month since i booked) on Lynhaven's website. Absolute vulture-type behavior.

Be aware of false advertisement before setting up a tour. At the moment they are advertising 8 weeks free rent on "all homes" without any restriction. When you call their call center number, they insist the concession is on all the apartments without any restriction but when you schedule your tour the leasing office refutes that and says the concessions are only available on certain bedroom apartments. Also consider the added fees and charges on top of your monthly rent. They will not disclose those fees unless you asked them directly. They charge an exorbitant fee for after-hour lock-out fee. This building is the only building I know that charges repainting and cleaning fees after move out (regardless of apartment's condition) so say goodbye to your security deposit and add that to your monthly rent. I toured this apartment recently and the apartments and amenities looked great with everything you expect from a "luxury" apartment. And the leasing agent was super nice and helpful (if you ask the right questions). For me it's the shady business practices (attracting ppl with false advertisement) that determined the star rating on my tour not the leasing agent.

REALLY BAD!! This was the worst experience apartment I have ever lived in. Renters, take the reviews seriously. - No one is onsite after-hours. Even in the daytime, persons who should be at the front desk( btw that is not technically a front desk, the leasing office is much larger tho) are hardly there. Have seen so many delivery persons having a hard time figuring out where to go. - The complex looks modern with nice amenities, but it is actually very inconvenient. The layout is so complicated and not user-friendly. some equipment in one gym and others in another. Funny design. The apartment designers should really have seen what a real luxury apartment is. No taste - random fees: I got locked out when throwing the trash. They claimed there is a $250 unlock fee after-hours. Fees seem pretty random, another post mentioned it was $200.I didn't know the policy in advance as well because it was leased by corporate housing( Excuse me??? easy money should not be that easy) Why are we paying so much rent for so-called luxury rent? don't even have the service to open a door. - the apartment is encouraging residents to list their homes as Airbnb(saw posts in elevators). Seems they take a big cut as a commission fee. Again, eye-opening!!! I wouldn't want to live in a place that is not actually safe, especially when the security and other services are so bad. Luckily I only stayed here for a month with corporate housing. Was considering here before moving in, feel great that I don't need to

WORST INVESTMENT. PLEASE TAKE REVIEWS SERIOUS. DO NOT SETTLE IN HERE. There were MANY added fees not explained at the initial sign of the lease with Clay. God forbid you have a life changing situation and need to relocate immediately due to job relocation, etc. because the “Concession Fee” is tremendous on top of the last months rent. You can kiss your deposit goodbye, NO MATTER HOW CLEAN. The Amenities for me were the reason we joined & they were often times, closed, shut down or inoperable. (Inoperable fire pits, broken down Jacuzzi) DIRTY Pool Lounge Chairs. When we initially did the walk through, we didn’t realize that every single one of the chairs were stained with bodily dirt and sweat. We never seen staff clean them. PACKAGE DELIVERY. Chaos… our mail was often times displaced, in a completely separate part of the building. Felt like a scavenger hunt every time a new Amazon order was placed. Seriously, how difficult could it be to place the correct package within the individuals mailroom? Unbelievable considering how expensive this place is. Really disgusted to be honest. Out of all the places we’ve rented this place might have had a solid safety factor due to the key fab, but surely didn’t look the best… You can find better looking units (Bigger with working amenities elsewhere). The key fab, certainly wasn’t helpful when carrying groceries, or simply bringing family to swim and having to buzz through every single door REPEATEDLY, or your locked in somewhere. Can’t stress this enough. Never felt that I’ve had to take the time to write a review, however this is the Worst Investment you can make.
