They charge $250 just to open your unit door for you if your forget your keys. And then proceeded to tell me that I can’t even purchase a new key since I didn’t lose it and just needed my unit door open. Very unfortunately a place that values profit over their residents’ wellbeing.

Apartments facing S San Pedro Street & on the lower floors (317,417,517,617) are right above the loading dock and garbage pickup, you will hear loud noises before 6am of trash collection and the glass will rattle, this does not reduce by closing the windows. A 6am wake up is worsened by the night club music keeping you up till 1am. If you think you’re paying a surprisingly lower rent, you’re paying with your sleep.

During Corona times, save yourself some money and don’t rent here. Very difficult access to the few amenities they have reopened. You’ll be paying for them but not going to be able to use them due to the time and space constraints they have in place. Also, downtown san jose is pretty dead much of the time so no point in being here, at least for now. They just recently did a major cleanup and repaint of the building but up until a few months ago the building was very dirty. It looks better now but in a few months it’ll probably be back to looking the same.

I just started my lease here. The process was relatively simple and straightforward! What caught my attention while I was looking for places was some negative reviews, especially recently. Mostly these being from the new management company. Between signing the lease and finalizing last details, the communication wasn't very consistent. However, I understand if they're under new management there's a lot of things they have to catch up with. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and waited. Everything so far is good and they've been very clear with what's expected. The concierge seems friendly too! Pro tip: Don't rely so much on the reviews online. If you're seriously considering this building do what I did. Tour it, browse around and if you find a resident ask them how THEY like the place. I asked two or three people on different occasations and I got positive feedback which instantly catapulted my decision on moving forward with this place. The only reason this place isn't 5 star (yet) was their spotty communication upon signing the lease and simply not living here long enough to get a complete picture. There is certainly room for improvement, but i get the impression the folks who live here, and who have lived here for a while know what they sign up for. I'll post an update somewhere down the line!
