If I can give this place zero stars I would. My husband and I lived at One38 for 15 months and toward the end of our lease, we were counting down the days to get out of there. The day of our move-in date, maintenance was still painting the walls and adding new flooring (you would think an organized apartment building would do this before a new tenant moves in). Also, don't even bother putting a maintenance request in because they will take a couple of days to respond. It literally took 5 minutes (yes, I timed it) to take a warm shower. We lived next to an older woman who CONSTANTLY blasted her music every night and when complained to Scott, he "apparently" notified her. You can always hear someone who worked in the leasing office talking badly about tenants. The garage gate was always broken and this led to car break-ins. Best part of One38, we’re still waiting for our security deposit! We moved out almost two months ago and by law the landlord is required to return the deposit to the tenant within 21 days of the move out date. Currently, going in circles with Scott - he's giving us ridiculous excuses "There was some issue with your accounting, and I need to have my Support Team adjust a few things before working on it. It should be sent out before the weekend." (November 18th) and "There was a problem with all deposit accountings, which unfortunately took longer to fix than expected. You should receive your check once my accountants approve, which I will check the status today." (November 23rd). What this apartment complex is doing is 100% illegal under California Law by withholding our deposit - DO NOT LIVE HERE.

We moved from another downtown apartment complex and I must say, this place has such a nicer feel to it. The staff are truly amazing and make living here a great experience. The floors in the apartments are SOLID so you really dont hear your neighbors much. The ameneties inside of the apartments are top end while the prices are more than reasonable for the area. So far we really enjoy living here and hope to stay for a long time.

Aura has beautiful brand new construction, all hard floor, open concept, and pet-friendly condo-like apartments right in downtown! I have allergies and just our zero-carpeting requirement rules out most places; add the pet-friendly aspect and options in the area become even slimmer. That's why this was an exciting find in our recent hunt! Our fave floorplan was sunny B7 with the wrap-around porch, and a view of the mountains. Their leasing staff, Scott and Michael were very friendly and helpful. Be it that they are trying to fill up all units (the building opened only a few months ago), the company offered 2 months rent free, plus $2,000 which made the option more affordable. So, if you're interested now might be the best chance to get the best deal. These pictures were sent to me by Scott after our tour for reference when we were doing our final new home selection.
