I had an amazing experience with Newman. They are professionals of their trade. The Sales Rep ( Russel) was respectful and informative. He helped us choose the right windows that best fit the needs of our family. The instal team was outstanding as well. I am sorry that I can't remember their names, but they were top-notch ( please tell them thank you). They treated our home as if it was their home. They were focused and hardworking. I liked how they would stop for a few seconds and talk to my kids and smile at them, and then get right back to work. This was a big project, 18 windows, but it never seemed chaotic or disorganized. We love the windows and our house doesn't get so hot anymore. Lol. Thanks so much. Anthony Scolamieri San Marcos

Chris and Danny were very professional and worked well together. They didn’t waste any time replacing my fogged sliding glass windows and also putting in a beautiful brand new dual pane sliding glass door to the backyard. They were pleasant to have around and we chatted a bit about dogs we own and used to own. Two excellent workers. They are excellent representatives for Newman Windows and Doors. Vicki

Cannot rate low enough. They dropped off a massive window to be installed three weeks prior to our scheduled install date without calling ahead, and told us that we had to store it ourselves at our house. On the day of our scheduled install the workers left after an hour of work (install was supposed to be a total of two hours) and didn't come back until 3.5 hours later and only because I called the supervisor after 2.5 hours had passed and no one returned. The supervisor himself had no idea where they were or why they hadn't returned, except to tell me he was sure they had come back to the workshop in the last 2.5 hours to get the necessary materials to finish the install. When a single worker returned after 3.5 hours he did not have the material to finish the job and it was the end of the work day, so after assessing what was needed they said they would return first thing the next morning between 7:45am and 8am. They were over an hour late the next morning and left a mess that the supervisor only sent someone out to clean up a full week later and only after I called after waiting a week and asked him to send people that day; his suggested solution was to wait through another weekend after already waiting an entire week, and they would send someone "first thing Monday morning". Overall, a two hour window install took 24 hours total (from 10am on the first day to 10am on the following day) and required myself or my wife to be there at home during Newman Window's "working hours" for 7 hours the first day and 3 hours on the second day. I addressed all this to them in person at their offices, at which time they assured me they would review our invoice and get back with an adjusted one. After waiting a week for a call back, I contacted them again and insisted they clean up the mess they left, which as detailed above they were slow to do. After another week, they called my wife and had her pay the original invoice in full. When I contacted them after they had solicitated and received full payment, they were sure to make it clear that their timelines and level or service were acceptable, and that I needed to be understanding because "we're in the middle of a pandemic."

Overall the customer service was almost perfect. The salesperson was very polite and had no problem following the Covid-related requests that I made. The installation crew was incredible-so efficient and professional. The one concern I had was an error that the salesman made in taking my request for one of the windows. I found out he was no longer employed with the company. Also I was not notified about a delay in scheduling until I made the phone call. Lastly, I felt that there was not a lot of effort made to remedy the error made by the salesperson. I would recommend this company to anyone who asked but I would add that the customer has to be diligent to make sure everything is correct.
