It's hard to ask for help when you are struggling to keep food on the table. Some may never need it, some occasionally and some wouldn't survive without it. Catholic Charities is there to lift the burden and help those in need. They provide a months worth of food with produce, meat and commodities, personal hygiene items and even a few desserts. The food is donated by local businesses like Walmart as well as individual contributions .The kindness and helpfulness of the people who work/volunteer there makes it a little easier. You can come monthly they only ask for your ID and date of birth of all other household members.
