I see you usually have pretty good reviews so maybe I just had a bad experience. I was there this past Saturday, there was an older gentleman in the front who was very nice as soon as I came in. When I got to the counter there was a heaver set bald guy. I asked him a couple questions with either no response or he was just very rude and short with his responses. I usually don’t write reviews but that’s not the type of people you shouldn’t have working for you I could believe the unprofessional manners.

Every time I have visited Frontier Justice, the service has been great. The sales people are very knowledgeable and never in hurry to move on to the next person until all my questions have been answered. The store is clean and the range is well run. The Range Masters make sure everyone is safe while using firearms. REASONS TO VISIT FJ BEFORE ANY OTHER RANGE OR GUN STORE: *Customer service is bar none. *Store, range, bathrooms, and retail area are very clean. *Well stocked of lots of choices in guns, ammo, and accessories. *Range is modern and well vented. The target system is a lot of fun. It has many options in addition to just moving out to one distance. *Special order items. *Cool rentals available. *All guns, sights, accessories, ammo are very competitive prices. I really have not been to another range since I started to visit Frontier Justice. Yes they are busy and sometimes you will have to wait to be helped. The wait is worth it.

Everyone in the store made me feel super comfortable. They answered all of my questions patiently and did not make me feel dumb for asking all of the newbie stuff. They prepared me for each step of the process, letting me know what was going to happen and gave me time frames. I just wish I could deal with this crew for every aspect of my consumerism. Great job by the company for having an awesome team trained very well. 10/10 would recommend.

Great indoor range with good moral people.. I appreciate want they stand for and how they do their business. The people that work there are great. And I have enjoyed many good moments with the people that frequent both Kansas City and Lee's Summit locations.

I pay per session at Frontier Justice. Overall very expensive place. Parma range is the best, S3.00 per hour and free targets.
Yes they are! They must be at least 8 years old and at least 48 inches tall.
We do not allow black powder on the range but you can shoot shotguns. You have to shoot slugs and the firearm must be able to be shouldered.
You pay for the lane, and 2 people per lane. I believe it's $25 for the lane. I take my 12 year old all the time.

It isn't caliber limited that I'm aware of, but it is velocity limited at 4,000 fps. They name some calibers at this speed (.22-250), so I think it is calibers CAPABLE of shooting that fast. They also do not allow tracer, steel core, armor piercing, or bird shot.

That is correct. You will need a government issued photo ID that is not expired and has your current address on it. Other than that you will just come in and pick out the firearm that you want and fill out some paperwork.
You need to fill out a waiver, provide identification and be age appropriate. For example, you have to be 21 to rent a handgun and 18 to rent a long gun. You must be 21 to use a full auto.

That's a hard question to answer online! We recommend you come in and speak to one of our managers or training staff. There are many factors to this question. Not only your age, but your hand strength, experience level, desired use of the firearm etc. We would love to help you find the gun you need. We also have a gun fitting class which allows you to try many different firearms with a training instructor in a one on one setting. Hope this helps!

No, but if you want to go on a weekend you have to reserve and pay for your lane via their website or you might not get in...according to the associate I spoke with over the phone...and you cannot do it over the phone.
Yes! We have a class called First Shots for parents and children.
I don't know about AR pistol pricing, but having worked at the cabelas gun counter for about 3 years, I can say FJ just like any other retail gun dealer is competitive IF you catch what you want on sale. IMO their daily non-sale out the door price is in line with other retail gun dealers.
Bring your own ammo our buy theirs. All casings must be brass.
The website says hours may differ on New Year's Day from their usual.
Lane fees are $15 for the first person. Bring a guest for $10 more. There is no time limit unless there are people waiting. Paper targets only.
