Business hours are good. Staff drive with care and respect the graves. Everyone is polite, respectful and go out of their way to answer all my questions. Security are always doing their best. My brothers grass and surrounding areas are always well maintained. My brother Isidro Caro, was layed to rest in 1998 (he was only 19 years old). Mt. Hope has always been clean and a peaceful place to visit your love one.

Great place to ride your bike or jog. Park is very well maintained and staff is nice to me every time I pass thru there.

Spoke to a woman named Lakeisha to get some information on pricing, not only was she rude but she did not offer her condolences and referred to my family member as the " deceased" instead of asking the name or relation to me. JUST A BIT OF ADVICE when someone is calling about a family member who has passed away it is a very sensitive subject...being rude and short with a potential client is not good for business! I will be letting all my friends and family and colleagues know not to use this graveyard.

Simply check the VISITOR MAP NEXT TO CEMETERY'S YELLOW LOBBY. MASONIC LOC: "IT IS SOUTH OF THE TROLLEY CROSSING AND COVERS A LARGE AREA."

They do not have a mortuary. They are a municipal cemetery, managed by the City of San Diego, and will probably work with any mortuary. Call cemetery office at (619)527-3400 weekdays 8:00am - 3:30pm for details.
You cam lay them on the grave site. Or buy a flower container from the cemetery they stat at like $30
It is possible, when you purchase the plot, you have choices. The office can help with those details and cost.
If you are computer savvy use findagrave.com. Otherwise try calling the cemetery office weekdays 8:00am - 3:30pm and ask them if they will ask the next findagrave volunteer photographer to do this for you. Give them your phone number and/or email address. They have done this before.
