Ennis House was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and build in 1924, famously used for a number of films including the original Blade Runner. The house is Mayan Revival - the same style used for the Hollyhock House and by his son for the Sowden House on Franklin. You can get pretty good views from the street of the house, but they've recently blocked off the views of downtown LA that could be seen through the gate and over the terrace.

Had no idea one could get so close. Spectacular Wright house. Well worth the trip uphill even though you can't go in.

Fantastic landmark architecture. A must see if you visit LA - forget the walk of fame or whatever. Shout out to the remnants who have to put up with us Lloyd Wright fans :)

It’s a wonderful house but you can only see it from outside It’s a bit of a shame that there is no guided tour because it’s a real piece of art and is worth a trip to that LA area
