When I was a little girl I used to come here during Christmas they would give out stockings and Christmas toys the line would start from the Casa Mexicana all the way around Euclid down to learn Franco Street I also at the age of seven I would go and practice and learn pom poms Drilling and be in the parade they would teach you how to play instrument I would go there for my school Euclid Avenue on Tuesdays or Thursdays I'm not sure and we would have catechism there. Right now I am 72 years old and I have good memories I bought the Casa Mexicana

Lots of great historical memories from defense of Mexican immigrants to beginning of Chicano movement. Great murals in first floor ceiling.
