No trip to Julian is complete without stopping by Julian Pie Company. A quiet, quaint country town located a beautiful motorcycle ride East of San Diego Julian offers loads of fun for the whole family. The Dutch Apple Pie with Cinnamon Ice Cream is as good as it gets! Drop in on a random weekday to beat the crowds but if you must go on a weekend plan accordingly as this spot gets very busy and wait times can add up quick! If you can’t make the trip out you can also find Julian Apple Pies at your local Vons but I highly recommend making the drive, you won’t regret it!

Absolutely delicious pie and a generous amount of ice cream. I got the peach apple crumb and would get it again. It's a nice treat after traveling up to Julian.

Good old fashioned American apple pie. Tasty and satisfying. If there is one tiny thing I would change it would be to cut the chunks of apple into smaller bite sized pieces. The large slices make it harder to get a good fruit to crust ratio with each bite. I know I'm not the only crazy one out there who feels this way. Where are my fellow OCD foodies? You know what I mean! 😆 But other than that the pie is absolutely delicious.

The Julian Pie Company is amazing. They have amazing pies, pastries, and coffee. This was our first time to sample pastries from the Julian Pie Company so we shared a piece of Dutch Apple Carmel Pie and it was amazing. We live in Oregon but friends of our recommended the Julian Pie Company and we are vacationing in Oceanside so we made the trip to Julian. Julian Pie Company had us with the first bite, oh so good. Do yourself a favor and try a pie or a slice of pie from Julian Pie Company, you will never go back to any other pies. Get that Pie, anyway you can, it's amazing! If you find my review helpful please give me a thumbs-up 👍 Thank you!

You can call them and find out. They have a webpage where that info is available
Hike and eat pie! If you like antiques there's a bunch here too
I have seen dogs on a leash outdoor sitting area. Not sure if indoor is allowed...
No i dont think so. Julian Pie company is its own company and has been for about 20-30 years now. Ive been going to Julian to get thier pies sence i was a teenager. Im almost 40 now and ive never heard of Sweet Marie's.
They have Boysenberry Apple Crumb
Yes they do. Best way is to order frozen pies and bake them yourself. Instructions are included.
Limited varieties of both frozen and unfrozen Julian Pies are also distributed by certain Vons supermarkets,so I suggest you call one near you and inquire with their bakery department.
No they are closed.
I am not sure whether they are open on Thanksgiving or not. But you can get it there before 2-3 days. They have un baked apple pies too. Tho there are long queue during Thanksgiving. So try to show up early before it gets finished.
There are also pleanty of seats outside if you don't mind the cold.
They sell it by the slice or the whole pie.
You can leave it out for three days but it will last longer if you refrigerated. There are instructions on the side and inside of the pie box.
Do YOU if much will be open?
No. Take out only.
I believe some place near there do, but I would call them to check.
Call them on that one... just eat it - they are sooooooo good... I won't tell.
Apple if the most bought , apple boysenberry is pretty good.
Currently Julian only ship Pies to grocery stores in California
Raquel I hope you can go to the Julian Apple Pie Company tomorrow. I think it is the best apple pie in Julian!!!
Just call them up. It's a Monday so in all likelihood they will but don't expect them to be open late. Most shops close up at 5pm.
This is a public forum, not run by Julian Pies. I was just there a few weeks ago and they did. I'm not sure on how long their "Pumpkin Pie season" is though.
I'd call to make sure
I don't work there. I'm not sure what all the different flavors are they make . You should call them directly and ask .
I agree with Robert Morris. I always keep mine refrigerated though.
They deliver the pies to San Diego grocery stores Stater Brothers and Jimbos
According to their website under products, julian pie company uses granny smith apples for their pie
