We only eat at Julian Cafe every time we are in Julian. We also order the same thing every time and that's the French Dip sandwich. The bread is soft and the meat is tender but the hot beef Au Jus sauce is incredible! We love the lunch so much we bought a whole Apple Pie!

Great cafe in Julian worth the wait. We love their gold rush chicken with homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. Good sandwiches. We all got the chicken tortilla soup and loved it. The hot apple cider is outstanding. Old western decor so you feel like it is standing still in time. Been there more than a dozen times and still not tried their pie because we are always stuffed!

Delicious as usual, was busy, getting close to Christmas. I had their version of a chili size with Cheese and Onions smothered over a well portioned Hamburger Patty and a side of the TortillaSoup. Donna had the Liver and Onions, she said it was great! (I'll never try it 🤢 sorry)Our friend had the Fish and Chips which looked delicious too.

delicious meals, had the garden burger. fries are the best I've ever had. their apple cider was so so but the remainder food was absolutely delicious. would highly recommend including for vegetarians such as myself
