Before moving to Uptown. I visited 13 apartment complexes, and this was the winner. Trey was the leasing agent that gave me the initial tour, and was a pleasure. The apartment that I got had exactly what I needed and for a good price. I am in love with the walking closet. When I moved in, I noticed a couple of things and maintenance came to fix them fast. And whenever maintenance comes, they are respectful of your place. The leasing office people are extremely welcoming and never had an issue with them. But from them, I want to give a shout-out to Mariana. She has been amazing and quick to respond to any issue I've had or answer any questions. Living here hasn't been perfect, but it's been almost near close to it. Yes I've had issues with neighbors but it also comes with living in apartment complex. The leasing office was quick to act to resolve things about missed trash pick ups, fire alarms going off, no parking space and package problems. I feel safe living here but recently they added a courtesy officer in the complex that makes it even safer. For packages we have the Fetch system that I was first skeptical due to reviews but so far it has worked like a charm. The best part would be having a Gold City Line stop right next to the complex which makes it so easy to commute to different places without a car. In short, it's a good place to live and definitely recommend it to those wanting to live in Uptown but not be inside the city.

I recently moved to Charlotte from LA and chose Centric Gateway as my home based on its location from the office, the layout, the price point and most importantly, the reviews. Daniel from the leasing office contacted me and he was quite helpful in answering my questions and all the required paperwork. I find Centric Gateway always clean, quiet and peaceful despite being located uptown. The apartment is quite spacious, high ceiling with modern kitchen appliances. There are restaurants nearby, a Starbucks and a 7-11. Mariana from the leasing office is always ready to help with my concerns. Warren the maintenance supervisor is quick to respond to my issues. You just make a maintenance request via the web/app and voila - he is there to help! I initially signed a 6-month lease as I did not want to commit. But after living here three months, I decided to lease for an additional year! Hopefully this review helps out those people looking for a home in Charlotte.

I recently moved to Centric Gateway a little over a month ago and it was one of the smoothest moves I've ever done! It started when my roommate and I toured with the Assistant Community Manager Summer, who was so helpful, answered all our questions, and worked with us on our move in date to get us the best apartment layout and the best price we could get. She made us feel at home and comfortable and we decided that day we wanted to make Centric Gateway our home! After a month, that hasn't changed and the staff is always super helpful!

My roommate and I spent months researching apartments in the downtown area of Charlotte. We wanted somewhere that was affordable, had a great location, and spacious floorplans. After touring Centric we immediately knew that all of our boxes were checked and applied that afternoon for an apartment. Mariana was very knowledgeable and welcoming which made us love the complex even more. She helped us through our many questions, and even went out of her way to pick up our cashier's check after work hours. We are so excited to live here next month! I highly recommend Centric to anyone looking to live in Uptown Charlotte.
