Stayed at the Ace and for the price it’s not worth it. It’s completely just a very glamourised and expense hostel. We booked the room with the private washroom because we couldn’t figure out why a hotel this pricy would have shared washrooms in the first place?! I swear “boutique hotel” is the new way for hostels to try and come off like its not just a hostel. Our room was right outside the shared washroom. All night long you could hear people going in and out of the washroom. Plus right above the door to our room there’s a window that the hallway light shines through all night long. So it’s not ideal for anyone who’s a light sleeper. Don’t even get me started on the no parking situation. If there’s a show at The Crocodile (which there was) don’t plan on getting any street parking. We had to park 5 blocks away from the hotel (hostel) and walk with all our luggage and dog. I gave it two stars because the front staff were friendly and accommodating. Would I stay at any of the Ace hotels again? No, I would not.

Well the stay itself was alright until checkout. The lady checking us out was quite rude, even told our toddler to be quiet for babbling because people were sleeping (at 10am). We were not given an invoice at checkout and were told we were all set. Shockingly when looking at our credit card statement we noticed an additional $200 in charges. $50 extra for one night along with a $150 pet cleaning fee. The website says they do not charge for pets. the owner tried to claim that a coffee stain was pet urine and that is why the charge was levied. When we explained it was clearly coffee he backtracked and tried to make up other issues and seems to have no intention of reversing the fraudulent charge. It’s clear the hotel has fallen on tough times and is now resorting to bad practice to recoup. I’ve never dealt with a situation like this and we have travelled with the dog many times. We don’t mind paying a pet fee up front but to be charged $200 after we left and had no way to discuss the charge is incredibly shady and quite frankly theft. Our stay amounted to just under $800 for two nights.. for a room without a bathroom facing a noisy street. Beware.

I roomed one day and night with Ace. I'm not used to this experience. It was interesting that it was a small room with a sink, a tv, shelves, desk, and one bed made for two people. The most interesting part was the shared restroom and shower rooms with all the other guests. When you would like to shower, they have 5 shower rooms that anyone can use. They told me that it's clean very often, so that's good. I think it's best for short stays, but in a long time stay, it isn't for me. Overall, it did enjoy my stay. :)

The room was small but comfy and very clean. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The hotel as a whole was very nice. It was a little weird once you left though. That is if your not already familiar with the area

No, the hotel doesn't have parking facilities and parking in the neighborhood is al paid parking.
There is a lot provided one block from the hotel, and also plenty of street parking.
They do not have parking but there are plenty of lots around the area
Maybe 3 miles, we got an Uber ride, but walked it after a concert @ Safeco Field
