I have worked professionally with Christina Napolitano for several years and cannot say enough good things. She has such a vast knowledge base and expertise in the Mental Health field, she was often our go to person for questions, resources, and processing complex cases in our department. Seeking therapy can be a very intimidating and anxiety producing experience, however Christina exudes such a welcoming presence and speaks in a relatable manner that fosters a comforting space to be vulnerable. I highly recommend her as a clinician.

Questions & Answers

What can I expect from my sessions?

Prior to the first session you will have you completed our New Client paperwork packet and will submit it via the portal for your therapist to review. During the first session, you will begin sharing your story so that your therapist can learn more about you and what you are seeking help with. During this session, you will also discuss confidentiality and your therapist will answer any questions you may have regarding treatment and/or office policies. Your therapist will also take payment for you during this session. The second and third sessions are typically a continuation of your story, getting to know you, your strengths, your struggles and to better identify your needs or goals in treatment. We will work together to identify ways we will know you are beginning to feel better. From that point on, sessions are tailored to meeting your needs and goals, with check-ins on how you feel progress is being made.

Is it a good idea to use my insurance benefits for therapy?

There may be reasons where you would not want to use your insurance benefits for therapy. Insurance companies can dictate the number of sessions you are permitted to have. They require the assignment of a diagnosis that meets medical necessity and this may not be appropriate, necessary, or beneficial for you. Working without insurance provides you more privacy, and gives you control over your therapy.

Do you take insurance?

Currently we are accepting Tricare and ComPsych. bareWell is currently out-of-network for other plans. Some PPOs will cover all or a portion of our services. If you would like to use your insurance, please contact your insurance provider directly and ask about self-filing options for “out-of-network providers.” We will provide you with a Superbill (insurance receipt) after each session which includes a description of services and provider information so you may submit claims directly to your insurance company. Please note, bareWell does not make any guarantees or promises that you will receive reimbursement from your insurance company for our services. Also, many clients have success using their flexible spending accounts through their place of employment. This may be another possible option to research.
