The rooms were decent. For what you pay per night to stay here, you'd think they would take the time to clean the carpets in the hallways and put a new coat of paint on the walls. The paint is peeling off the walls in some hallways and from off the elevator doors. The carpets are badly stained and it smells like urine in the stairwell. I didn't feel comfortable using the elevator because it was very dirty and smelly inside. The rooms were decent but the floors were disgusting and my feet were almost black just from walking ok the floor barefoot.

A dump! We were forced to get a room here because of no availabilities around on Hotel Circle (It was Memorial Day Weekend) we should have been more prepared, I know, but we got a room with 2 queen beds at $335 thinking it has to be a nice place for that price …. No! The vending machine was broken, the hallway smelled of pee BADLY & sadly I could tell there were some folks there that had no where else to go … not their fault. We’ll never go back to this place. Avoid Motel 6.

The staff were courteous, but unfortunately we did not have a good stay. Our room was filthy and pot smell from other patrons was constantly filtering into our room. The pillows in our rooms were completely flat, normal I know, but when we requested additional pillows, they said we couldn’t get them until the next day-it was 7pm when we asked but they said the room with the extras was locked? Didn’t get hardly any sleep that night. Proceeded to ask several times over the next day, each time being told “of course”and that they would be brought up soon…. Never came. We will not be back.

Price's are good. Front desk upon check inn was nice. The tower 🗼 it's the place to stay. They were fighting people smoking and staying up all night the trap is what staff called it. Outside room's are better by the pool. Hard to get in the pool area because it's locked. House keeper it's cleaning room's probably hotel needs an upgrade. Overall front desk are good people

ocean Beach is roughly 5 mi up the 8 freeway from this hotel. Pb 5 miles up 5 freeway. Hotel sits right at entrance if freeways
Hi. I think motel 6 n San Diego was very affordable and very nice. Our room was a good size and we fit in more than a few people. We stayed there for about 4 nights and we felt very safe. They have security on site and the employees were very respectable. Its very close to many San Diego attractions. I would recommend motel 6. Oh yeah, there was one small thing that was a bit annoying. One of the elevators worked sometimes and sometimes it didn't. We were there 3 weeks ago tho. Maybe they fixed it. If u want a mini fridge and microwave u have to ask them when you r making the reservation. Hair dryers r at the front desk u just have to ask for it.
