We really enjoyed our time at Las Kivas. It is in a nice part of town, management was responsive and professional, their rates were reasonable, and they were fair about everything related to move out! Even though there are a lot of dog owners, everyone seemed to take pride in their apartment community and picked up after their dog. The option to have a carport or garage was super convenient, but there was never an issue finding parking without renting one of these. Perhaps most importantly, we always felt safe at Las Kivas. The gate broke down once when we were there, and it was back operating within 24 hours. There was also an APD officer who lived in the complex and parked their patrol car out in the open, which to us showed what a safe complex it was. We only left because we bought a home up in Placitas.

I love living here!!! The office manager is literally the best. I cannot express this enough, she plays a big part here at the property. She gives great customer service and I can tell she cares about the property. I saw here cleaning one evening and on several occasions she's touching up apartments, poor thing I guess there is not a housekeeper onsite (but you'd never guess, especially because she's picking up trash, helping with snow and ice removal and cleaning apartments). I tell anyone whose looking that this is the place. The property is older and the fixtures inside are kind of upgraded but again for the customer service I do not mind.

For starters the manager here was so pleasant and helpful especially that I was moving from out of state. The apartment was well prepared and look great when I arrived after 10+ hours of driving. I have been so happy here for the past year. I love my neighbors, it is quiet peaceful and the grounds are always kept very nice. The manager does it all, I see her vacuuming units and even last week she was out with maintenance guys shoving snow for us. You can tell she loves her job. Unfortunately I will be ending my time here due to the outrageous increased I was offered. I spoke with the manager who did her very best to work with me unfortunately especially during this time I don’t see how anybody can afford such a high increase. I will be looking elsewhere

If I could give this review 10 stars, it still wouldn't be enough. This is my second go round living at Las Kivas apartments, and it's even better than the first! I have lived in several different apartments here in ABQ and this is by FAR the most wonderful management I've ever had, with very good sized apartments and awesome amenities at a great price. The property manager Ned, is so kind, always friendly, completes maintenance right away, and genuinely makes me as a tenant feel cared about and valued. Both Ned and the full time maintenance man, Steven, are so wonderful. They have gone above and beyond to take care of me here! I can't think of one negative thing about this place, the management, or the living conditions. Best apartments/management in Albuquerque!
