A very friendly dog approached us while we were looking at the maps. SO CUTE!! The person behind the desk was helpful, but is probably a spy and the information about Bend was also helpful.
Hey Bend
They have spoiled staff members who brag about destroying Bend while improving the lives of their own family. Pathetic in every sense of the word. Bend is well-known enough now that “Visit Bend” is obsolete and a waste of resources that could actually go to making Bend a better town. Let the corporations pay to advertise Bend, not the local tax payers. Negative 100 STARS

Visit Bend is the information hub for Bend and a place you have to go to if you're visiting. They have a great and friendly staff, combined with amazing stuff for sale that all benefits the town and parks. They also are the last stop for the Ale Trail, visit 10 breweries in town and get a SiliPint, 110% worth struggling through 10 beers on a hot day in town.

The Bend Visitors Center was lovely. Tons of information and the staff are very helpful. We finished the first 10 of 16 breweries. Got a great beer mug out of it.

You can download the Bend Ale Trail app to get a list of breweries or see a map of them. I believe their website has it too.
Yes, it's right by Mt. Bachelor.
You can buy a Northwest Forest Pass or an Oregon State Park Pass there.
