For the most part they are great but for the second time our lawn can has not been taken. No note was left,no reason was given. I called on Friday which is my pick up day and was on hold for 23 min with no one answering.

Horrible service, our recycling has been out for 2 months and we have combed though it to make sure everything was recyclable. They leave notes to say what you cannot put in it, but never a list of what you can put in it, so it’s a guessing game every time. They spend way more time writing out lists and taking pictures than just taking out the items they can’t recycle and throwing them in the trash, that would be actually service worth paying for. If you can avoid them by all means do. And don’t listen to their responses, they are sad excuses for bad service.
Apt 102
Standard trashcan is barely big enough to put one garbage bag in, commingled recycling is so ridiculously limited it’s not even worth calling in a recycling bin, and they charge to take away green waste and I can which is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Having moved here from CA, it wasn’t until just now that I was embarrassed of services offered an Oregon.

Heidi in customer service is very helpful. But recycling is horrible. We moved to a rental home after living in an apartment and we're not educated on what is recyclable. I called Heidi and she was helpful. However after a month of waiting for our recycling to be picked up, on the third pickup since moving in they took our can. I had made absolutely sure everything in there was correct. Rinsed out cans and #1 and 2 plastics with lids removed and corrugated cardboard. I'm livid. Response: I am aware of the restrictions (now). However my can was repossessed after 2 pickups. My third pickup, which was perfect, was not even considered before repossession. The first pickup, I did not even know when the recycling truck came through as we had JUST moved in, let alone the restrictions we needed to follow. I'm surprised my can was repossessed so quickly. I didn't even have time to learn the procedures. My can should be returned. I was doing my part in communicating with Heidi to learn.I had been on the phone with her both times to figure out the problem. It seems someone was just having a bad day and took it out on my family.

Collection day at 545 Oak St in Central Point is on Tuesdays. Trash is picked up every Tuesday and recycle and yard debris service alternates weeks. Once you start service and have your first collection, you will be able to retrieve a collection schedule (calendar) on our website at www.roguedisposal.com.
If you live in the Rogue Disposal service area, here is what we accept in the curbside collection: corrugated cardboard (the kind with the wavy center), milk jug style containers that are cloudy or solid white, newspapers including the inserts, and metal cans like aluminum or steel. More items are accepted at the recycling depot. Go to our website roguedisposal.com for all the details, or feel free to give us a call!
We do not charge for TVs or computers (monitors, towers & keyboards) in our electronic waste program at our transfer station. All other electronics are charged as trash.
We can accept used motor oil at our transfer station recycle depot for no charge. The oil must be placed back in its original container, or up to a one gallon container with a screw-top lid. We also accept motor oil on our recycle routes. Same rules apply; oil must be in a one gallon container or smaller, with a screw top lid. Any other type of container will be left. The container then needs to be placed in front of the red-lid cart on normal collection day, so the driver can see it.
If you are in Rogue Disposal's service area in White City, leaf collection is Wednesday, December 12th. We do not collect leaves in the portions of White City that we do not service for trash. You can find more information on our website, here; https://roguedisposal.com/about-us/news/service-updates/we-brake-for-leaves.
There is no charge to drop off your TV. We will only accept TVs, computers, laptops, tablets, desktop printers and computer peripherals (mouse & keyboard) for no charge, in our electronic waste recycling program. We do not accept other 'electronic appliances' for no charge. Coffee pots, blow dryers, toasters, etc, are garbage, which will be charged for disposal. You can find more information on our website here; https://roguedisposal.com/residential/electronics-waste.
Small, quart-size, camping tanks can be thrown in the trash as long as they are EMPTY. We accept larger propane tanks (empty), up to 7gal, at the transfer station for $9.80 each.
If you return your beverage containers to the bottle drop, you can leave the lids on the container. We do not accept the bottle tops in our recycle cart.
No, 1 W Main St is our business office. The public can dispose of trash at our transfer station, which is located at 8001 Table Rock Rd in White City.
We do not accept paint in its liquid form curbside or at our transfer station. We refer customers to www.paintcare.org; enter your zip code and find a local retailer who will take back your unused paint. However, if you open the can and let the paint dry out - adding kitty litter will accelerate the process - then we can take the paint in dry form.
We apologize, we have several routes/neighborhoods where our drivers were not able to complete regular pick-up on scheduled collection days. Our goal, weather permitting, is to return to these areas and give service as soon as possible. We are returning to your area everyday this week to attempt to catch up, so please leave your cart at the curb and available to our drivers. If slippery conditions persist and we are unable to return this week, on your next scheduled service day we will empty your full cart as well as take extra bags, due to this missed service, at no additional charge. (Please set extra bags to the side of your cart, not on top of it). We appreciate your patience as the safety of our drivers, and all those we serve, is of the utmost importance in these difficult weather conditions. Please upload our Rogue app for weather alerts on your street, or visit our website for more information.

If you are disposing of sheetrock from a remodel or demolition, you will need to have it tested for asbestos. The sheetrock itself will not contain asbestos, but the tape and texture may. Therefore, if you have new scrap sheetrock from new construction, that hasn't been painted, taped or textured, you can dispose of it without testing.
We accept fluorescent tubes at our transfer station for $0.25 cents per foot. They are not allowed in your curbside cart or in the landfill. I appreciate the inquiry.

Sorry, but they are not accepted in the Rogue Disposal service area. Mixed waste paper is in low demand in the market place. Go to roguedisposal.com for more information.
You can drop off TVs and computers (monitors, towers, keyboards and mice) at our transfer station for no charge as electronic waste. The drop-off is located at the end of the recycle depot.

Hi Lorraine, your microwave oven can go in the garbage; either in your black-lid curbside cart or dispose of it at the transfer station.
Hi Lorraine, If you put paper in the trash, it gets landfilled. High-grade paper accepted at our transfer station recycle depot, or any paper you have shredded in our program, goes to a pulping fiber facility to be made into new product. Please do not feel bad about placing paper in the garbage if it is a type that cannot be recycled - for example, shiny or glossy paper is not accepted - because our landfill produces energy, and in the near future we'll use the renewable natural gas to fuel our fleet of trucks!
We will accept small desktop copy machines (with fax) for no charge in our electronic waste disposal area at the transfer station, as well as TVs and computers. We will NOT accept large office copiers in our ewaste program; they must be disposed of as trash.
We hold our annual hazardous waste event the first Saturday in May. We cannot accept hazardous materials any other time of year because we are not a licensed hazardous waste contractor. Southern Oregon Sanitation, www.SOSanitation.com, holds their annual event in Grants Pass in the fall. You can contact them for more information. It's also a good idea to ask friends or neighbors if they can use the product too.
Routes run normal for the Memorial Day holiday. You can go to our website, www.roguedisposal.com, and enter your service address here - https://roguedisposal.com/resources/recycling-schedule - to see your collection schedule. You can also sign up for reminders and alerts on the same page. Thank you!
We will accept your refrigerator at our transfer station, 8001 Table Rock Rd, for $30.00. You can call our customer service office, 541-779-4161, to get a quote for removing it from your residence.
Yes, as long as the items fit in the cart, with the lid closed, and you have removed any liquid from the shampooer. I appreciate the inquiry.
Yes, this technology has been around for many years. We have a facility in Portland called Agilyx that has been attempting to build a successful business doing this . . .it's a nice idea, but a couple problems have kept it from really taking off. First, this technology is outrageously expensive, and it isn't actually "recycling", but a conversion technology - a very energy intensive one. Agilyx is now only focusing on styrene. That being said, I am happy to see that some innovative ideas are being explored. But we have to proceed with caution. We need to look at overall environmental impacts of our decisions. Would trucking bulky light weight plastics hundreds of miles to Salt Lake or Colorado to be processed in a facility that uses more energy than it can recover the best choice for our environment? What looks good at first glance often has unintended consequences. Here is a link to recent article about this topic: https://www.lowimpact.org/pyrolysis-not-solution-plastics-problem/
Thank you for the inquiry, Karen. Please contact us immediately if you did not get your cart out in time for collection. If there is a driver still in the area, we can usually send someone back by to empty your cart. If we do not have a driver in the area, we can take extra trash for you the following week for no charge. The extra trash needs to sit next to the cart in bags or residential cans, equivalent to the size of your cart. If we have to send a driver back on a day that is not your normal collection day, there may be charges applied. Please remember to have carts out by 6:30am, that is when the drivers start their routes.
Our transfer station is open on Saturday, from 7am - 5pm, and closed on Sunday. You can find the hours on our website here; https://roguedisposal.com/transfer-station. Our customer service offices are open 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, closed Saturday & Sunday.
Good morning, Deborah. To find the latest information on weather and routes, you can go to our website, www.roguedisposal.com. There was a pop-up message on the website yesterday afternoon, stating that some routes were canceled due to weather, and to leave carts out until we can safely return to empty them. Today, we are going back for the streets we could not reach yesterday. There is a new message on the website today, stating there is a two-hour delay for residential routes. If you are interested, you can click on the Collection Schedule button on the top of the homepage, enter your service address and sign up for alerts - via email, text or call - to find out about service in your area.
We accept extra trash on collection day in bags or residential cans (Rubbermaid or aluminum) for an extra fee. If you have service in your name, we can charge your account. If you are a tenant, you will need to contact us to pay in advance. The charge for an extra 33gal hefty bag - or equivalent - is $4.99 in the city, or $5.33 in the county. Please place the extra bags or cans to the side of your cart; do not over-fill your cart. If you wish to take the extra trash to the transfer station, we charge $12.90 per cubic yard, with a minimum charge of $19.50.
Hi Ronald, the red-lid commingle cart is emptied every other Thursday on South Haskell. Next Thursday is your recycle collection day. We offer a collection schedule on our website - https://roguedisposal.com/resources/recycling-schedule - that allows you to see days of pick-up for all your services. You can even set up reminders, via phone call, text or email, so you know ahead of time what cart to set out. Visit our website at www.roguedisposal.com, and click on the Collection Schedule tab at the top of the page.

Good morning, and Merry Christmas, Jina! Yes, the transfer station at 8001 Table Rock Rd will be open till noon today (Christmas Eve).
Hi Courtney, if you are looking for rates on our large drop boxes for household clean-up, you can find all the information on our website here; https://roguedisposal.com/commercial/drop-box-services. We also offer a temporary clean-up bin - https://roguedisposal.com/residential/bin-rental - for smaller jobs.
I would start by contacting the Medford Mail Tribune to see if they have misprints or extra copies of newspapers. If you can use other materials for packing, you can check with grocery stores and furniture stores, to see if they have bubble wrap or other materials that comes with their incoming merchandise.
All routes run as usual on Thanksgiving Day. The only two days of the year that the drivers do not run their routes are Christmas Day and New Year's Day. You can find the Holiday Schedule on our website here - https://roguedisposal.com/search/?q=holiday+schedule - or look for it as an insert in your billing statement.
Good morning Harry, Yes, residential and commercial routes run normally on Labor Day. The only two holidays that affect the collection schedule are Christmas day and New Year's day. If you are interested, you can sign up for collection reminders here - https://roguedisposal.com/resources/recycling-schedule - that will let you know of collection days for trash, recycle and yard debris, and can remind you via phone call, text or email. Thank you!
Les swabs will take a tire costs only 5 bucks
Hi Joshua, Yes, while we don't charge by weight, we do have to make sure the automated arm on the truck can lift the cart. If you have a 35gal cart, it has to be under 122lbs, a 65gal has a max weight of 150lbs, and a 95gal has a max weight of 332lbs. Thank you!
Good afternoon Jim, The driver did notify us that the wheel on your yard debris cart needs replaced. The work-order for the repair went out on Tuesday, and it can take 2-7 days for our cart crew to get to your residence to make the necessary repairs. You may continue to use the cart while you wait for our crew. I appreciate the inquiry.
Good morning Randy, Yes, you can put out the equivalent of a 33 gal residential can for $5.19, and we can bill your account. I can let the driver know you'll have extra trash out today. Thank you!
I would call them
