Literally went in looking for some kind of help, I was robbed the night before of all of my belongings aside from my phone and MacBook, I have nothing and no one out here (or anywhere thanks to Covid taking a majority of my family) and these people put me in a room at Sunnyside motel that looks like it was tailored for a suicide. From the ominous warnings of past crazy tenants, to the chair placed beneath a coat hook in the closet, and even the finer details of human fecal matter and removal of all electrical face plates. You can not tell me for a single moment that you(Evelyn) didn’t bother to do the slightest vetting. And that there is nothing more your agency can do for me with the residual 700 dollars in funding you get from my near mental break down in your office? Not even an “are you feeling well? What are you looking or needing at this moment? And how can we help” nope! Just me shuddering, clearly in a crisis, and a “good luck” as you hold your breath, in disgust since I have not been able to access running water in almost a week. You guys have zero care for the human being that walks through your doors.

Great caring staff, safe inviting facilities. I recently received my peer to peer LyftUp certification, I’m very grateful for everything they’ve done for me.

Lee is one of the most amazing people in this city. HE is so reliable and professional... He really should have a formal recognition for the many years he has been working for Emergency Fund. Good work Lee. Thank you so much.

Not only are they great attorneys, their great people. There to help by answering questions, being your voice and guide you through the hurdles that Social Security has potential benefactors go through to get the services they(we)need to survive. They filed for SS for me in 2012 and just helped me win my appeal to continue my benefits after Social Security denied me, after my review in July 2018. The attorneys at PRC, proves that not all attorneys are snakes, cause those at PRC are Guardian Angels!

Yes they do though the dates in a little fuzzy on
Hello, Anna. Primarily, PRC can help San Francisco residents (who are HIV positive or those referred with a mental health diagnosis) with legal assistance surrounding medical benefits and disability claims. Their employment specialists can help with computer and administrative training as well as referrals to other job resources. While PRC's attorneys cannot assist with renters rights issues, they can refer you to several organizations who do if you call the front desk. Hope that helped 😊and good luck in your search!
AIDS emergency fund is now part of PRC contact PRC at the main number and they will hook you up, they are located on 9th Street between Mission and Howard
PRC may be able to direct you to an appropriate legal representative. In general, PRC attorneys advocate for those seeking help in dealing with social security issues and the like. But do call, they have excellent information. 😊
PRC can't help directly with housing or non-disability/employment services, but they'll have some good referrals for you. <3
