Don't use this post office if you are ordering anything of value, in just the last month they have cost the wife and I about $1000 due to packages being marked delivered when they were not. Multipke packages marked as delivered on front porch without being delivered. We have a security system that proves no one delivered anything on our porch, showed the footage to the post office, still nothing done. Packages "delivered to mailbox" frequently end up in the wrong box.

I checked for my package online first and it stated they attempted to delivery it twice yesterday but couldn't get to the delivery location. Which is not true. My building is open and security is here 24/7 . After reviewing the cameras , it did NOT show any one attempting to deliver packages. So now I call and someone answered and place me right on hold. Didn't say anything. Still on hold 30 minutes..

This is where they send your parcels to do time if you are not home to prevent it. You may have ordered your parcel online but this place is brick and mortar. Located close to the design district, I'm giving an extra star for the surprisingly comfortable maroon Danish modern chairs in which you can wait and wait.

Just like the countless other's before me, I would definitely give them 0 stars if I could. They consistently mark my packages as "delivered" when they are not. Today's said, "Delivered. to the front desk or reception area at 11:39 am." I currently do not have my "delivered" package which was supposed to be here by 8pm today. Our receptionist said they didn't even receive our "normal" mail today either. And God forbid you try and call the annex to get a live person. The phone rings busy all day. This is THE WORST postal office EVER. Of course now they’ve marked it as delivered I cannot chose the option of having it held at the annex. I really wish Amazon would stop using USPS as a vendor. 2 items ordered on the same day. One item was straight UPS, which I got on time (who'd have thunk it), and the other item was the cringe worthy FedEx Smart Post. Which means I get to play the fun game of "will my package EVER really get here?!?!". I can only imagine how bad it would be if people still actually mailed letters and cards all the time instead of email.....

Townsend annex does not answer the phone and doesn't deliver the mail. The only thing we can do is call our Congresswoman. What a mess.

The post office delivered your mail to the neighbor by mistake and the neighbor was kind enough to give you the mail. It's the post office's fault obviously but it happened and it will happen again for sure, especially it hires so many new people to deliver mail nowadays
