Relatively clean and well maintained. The dog park is extremely popular. Be aware that there ARE public bathrooms but they tend to be locked during the colder months. At least, that was the practice when I worked for the Park District about 10 years ago. They also turn off the water at the dog park during the winter months. The new off leash section is nice but be aware of the possibility of ticks during the summer.

Great dog park. Nice people and nice dogs. Large yards and a very nice fenced nature area.

I love it and so does my boy Carlos. He's little and gets scared easily, so the little dog park is wonderful! (There's also a park for the bigger dogs) Trees, water fountain (water bowls throughout), shaded awning with picnic tables and garbage cans with doggie mess bags as well as a dog wash area that's fenced in. There's also a kids playground with tables and bench, A cement skate park, shelter with tables and grills, porta pottie, walking path and baseball diamonds! Best part? It's FREE 😎 Just clean up after yourself, your small people and your pups. 🙃
