Consistently disappointed and frustrated any time I have to deal with this hospital. The employees are so nice, but this hospital is a mess. Been waiting 3 months for nephrology to even receive my referral. I have talked to some people in the ER myself and told it was being sent out. Nephrology still has yet to get it and have taken over themselves in trying to put pressure on Gritman to send it. The amount of stories just like this from my friends, family and the doctors they work with as well is ridiculous. Some practitioners in the area have started sending people to other hospitals for care because of the continual carelessness. I can promise you, in the end Gritman will be responsible for care being delayed to you.

The care my family received when we had our baby at Gritman was great minus the unethical covid rules they had. No family members were allowed to join us during this monumental time. They wouldn't even let me walk the newborn outside to see his doting grandparents. I'm leaving this low review because of how unhelpful the facility is when it comes to volunteering and shadowing for pre-med students. You'd think that Gritman would love so many students wanting to shadow and help out. I've gone in person multiple times, been given phone numbers and emails, all to no avail. For months I've tried every possible form of contact simply to be met with a brick wall. What gives, Gritman? Why not support your local students while receiving free volunteers? I reached out to Pullman Regional and St. Joe's and got in immediately! Please take notes from the other hospitals-such unprofessionalism really makes you look bad.

Dr white is ill tempered if he doesn't like you. Let a severe adverse reaction to Flagyl go undetected on my first visit with the worst sore throat ever calling it viral pharyngitis. Didn't ask me if I'd taken any new medications! Was very short tempered with me when I questioned him. Just wanted me gone. Next visit Dr white again..oh great. I'm having a severe allergic reaction with body covered in hives (taking second dose of medication I got the severe sore throat) give her a shot of prednisone and 3 days of pills ...what? No cream for the itchy hives covering 95% of my body? I told him benadryl was not stopping whatever this was. Leaves me, never comes back..my monitors alarm starts going off I look up my blood pressure is 98/ 54...no one's coming..alarm still going off..2 minutes later Crystal the nurse shows up and says oh that's a normal blood pressure ? Disconnects me sends me home with a pamphlet on what to do with an epi pen ? What epi pen? Do I need one? She was very sweet by the way. Thank you Dr white for treating me like dirt because you don't like me because we had a past incident that you can't let go and because of it I could have died yesterday . I had a rare serious reaction to Flagyl, saw my reg doctor in the morning and she took very good care of me and gave me itch cream and advice ! You can't be mad at patients or get impatient with them or hold grudges. You are in the wrong profession.

I’ve had strep throat before, so I had a feeling I had it again and decided to go and get checked out. 1, the only doctor that would see me was in ER (overkill for this situation). The nurse that saw me first was very cold and uncaring about my experience, and the doctor was no better. He asked the question: ‘so your condition isn’t life threatening?’. Like sir. What kind of question is that. Despite my throat pain, the tests came back negative and I was discharged which I questioned. Woke up the next morning with tonsils swollen and throat almost closed. Went to the quickcare clinic instead. They asked me how did the hospital even choose to discharge me in my throat condition. Still don’t know. Would love an answer.

No. There are nursing homes in the area but not at the hospital.

What time.does it open

Gritman is open 24 hours, but many of the offices and specialists do have business hours. If you need help with something it is best to head over as soon as it becomes an issue, and the staff can get you set up with what you'll need.
