How can you get information when these people won't answer their phones, or have to listen to a poorly designed phone menu system? I only joined this union because I had to, to work.

I’ve been trying to pay my dues for six months and call each month to let them know. The address they send my bill to is definitely not correct. I would think their number one priority would be to collect money to keep themselves afloat. I leave messages with contact info, to no avail. I let them know I would mail my check but I don’t know the amount. I’m not in San Francisco, sonIncan’t come in during their business hours. Wouldn’t an organization with self preservation in mind, jump at the chance to collect from a willing member? I would fire every single person in the billing chain if command. Why? Because they know they can’t be fired. Lazy and listless. Pathetic. If Local 2 was a real business, it would be out of business.

They can't take you to a collection. They first have to investigate and open a grievance especially if they are dentists they are rats. The insurance through the union have to investigate if there is fraud.
