They refuse to let anyone visit patients. Grandmother was at the hospital for several weeks, they didn’t take care of her. The nurses abused her to the point where she has bruises all over her body as though she was beaten and handled roughly all over. Before going into the hospital she didn’t have any bruises after they sent her back home we noticed bruises all over her chest hands arms back and other parts of her body. What kinda establishment is this? The hospital board should be ashamed of themself for allowing this type of abuse to patients. The nurses and doctors need get off their high horse and start caring for their patients. This type of abuse to patients needs to be corrected immediately and formal change of SOP should be taken into consideration especially to the comfort and care of patients. People expect their loved ones to get better and feel better after going to the hospital not the opposite! They pay their hard earned money to be taken care of not taken advantage of and not be their test subjects.

This hospital is a joke. They are thieves! I went in to ER department few months ago, firstly I waited 5 hours to be seen. Then when I went in, all they did was a bloodwork and kept me there for another 4 hours even after my results were back(No sign of a doctor or nurse for hours). They did a pregnancy test on me without even mentioning it to me and I had already told them there's no chance of me being pregnant(even the MA told me that they should have asked me because its just waste of money to do the test)! After few weeks I get a bill for over 12 thousand dollars! Like, what the heck did you do, give me a new organ or something? I keep writing to them to provide me a breakdown of the charges that amount up to over $12,000 but never hear from them. Their billing department is never available or pick up their phones either. Never ever going here again.

I gave birth at this hospital a few days ago and was so touched on the service and quality of my whole birth experience. All the staff and nurses were extremely professional, polite and helpful. They went out of their way and were always very knowledgeable. They were so nice made me all feel so comfortable and always made sure I had everything I wanted and desired. They saved my little newborn baby during last-minute complications immediately, and looked after her every second around the clock until they made triple sure she was 100% ready to come back to me. They taught me how to take care of my baby , until I understood everything and every up to date research-backed detail. It felt like they really cared about us. There was never any judgement, never any kind of questionable remark or negligence in any way. They always kept me updated and I am so grateful for them. It was such a positive experience, that when left I kinda missed the place. I am greatful for their outstanding care.

The careful help of the staff made me feel the same care as my family. The doctor's decisive treatment gave me a new life. Thanks to all the people who work here, and wish you happiness every day!

I don't know. But i was in ER a couple of days ago. I had pulomonary pain. My pain was controlled with 1.5 mg of Dilaudid. Then one of the nurses decided that she would guide me to go to the lobby area to wait for my ride. I declined--as I was still in pain and didn't feel it was a good idea for me and my illnes/ treatment to be exploited before other patients, etc. I like Dr. Koo. But sometimes the nurses treat Sickle Cell patients like drug addicts--and that im not. I'm thankful for not being forced into the lobby area. I've had more positive experiences here than negative. I whish they were all positive, but their just may not be a way to get around that with humans.
