We bought a Michael Kors bag from the Livermore Michael Kors outlet on 29th November 2021. 3 days later the zipper has fallen off. We are now in San Francisco and cannot get back to the Livermore Outlet as we don't have transport back there (visiting from the UK). We went to the MK store in San Francisco and the gentleman here has said that he can't help us as it's an "outlet" problem. We asked if he could just put another zip on and tighten the clasp but he said this wouldn't be possible. There's also no guarantee the UK stores will help us when we return to London on 5th December. We do not want a refund but a repair on the bag or a replacement bag. I find it shockingly poor workmanship that the zipper has fallen off within 3 days and very poor service from Michael Kors that another Michael Kors store in San Francisco has said that they cannot help us despite the lady at Livermore saying that if we have any problems in the first year, we can take the bag to any MK store for free repairs or replacements. I think it's a reasonable expectation, that if you pay 100s of dollars on a bag that it will be usable for more than a few days and that if there's a problem, the local store should be able to assist.
