Very nice venue. Not too big, and we were way in the back and still had a nice view and good sound. Very nice and helpful ushers. They were serious about verifying that attendees are vaccinated. Plus, lots of people didn't show up, at least for the opening act (we were only there for the openers and left afterward because we're still nervous about being indoors with crowds). If it had been a full crowd, we would have been more nervous.

Our first time here and our first time seeing the Nutcracker. We absolutely loved it! The show was amazing and the theater was great! It doesn't look like there's a bad seat in the place. My 4 year old loved it and was offered a booster seat. We will definitely be back for other shows

The Bankhead theater It's a wonderful venue for inside theater live performances, orchestral presentations, and also the lovely courtyard of the Bankhead Theater hosts live entertainment, musical events and many theatrical presentations for the young and the young-at-heart! The show is almost precisely two hours including a 20 minute intermission. So a matinee that starts at 2pm should be out at 4pm give or take a few minutes. I hope you'll join us and enjoy the show!
