How do I get a copy of a divorce decree filed in San Francisco, California

They have the paperwork to fill out at the office. However it's only the last 3 years worth of records. If it's over 3 years then go across the street.

Go to office with ID and ask for it. There is a fee too.

Valid, non expired passport would work I suppose? During the weekdays, around 1-2 o'clock they're not too busy so you could stop by and ask them what proof they need. Go to City Hall across the street and when you walk in, ask the security guard which room the birth records are in. It's toward the back of the building, on the right hand side.

You will need to go the County Clerk's office at City Hall.

I do know grandparents can and I believe an aunt or uncle, and brother or sister as well but for sure I know for a fact grandparents can

City hall is the place to go if you are 4 yrs old and older. If you are from 0-3 it's old office across the street from city hall . Thise new rules un the vital records office door. It's $29.00 for copy and you revieve it same day less

It seems that because there is a fee, it must be done in person or by mail. But maybe there is a site online that could help

I know that for birth dates earlier than 2015 they send you across the street. This office is 2016 and later.
