My new go-to take out place in Downingtown, I absolutely love the chicken and broccoli. Haven't tried much else but the dumplings were good enough. Also, they've always been very nice and friendly, contrary to what I read on here. I do always tip well so that could be it, haha.

This is the best kept secret in Thorndale! Food is cooked fresh and fast! Unlike the competition, China Chef has FLAVOR! We lok forward to lunch and dinner specials and the owners are super friendly.

Decent prices, generous portions. Based on previous reviews, it looks like the way to go is to (1) pay in cash and (2) do pick-up only. I attached some photos of their menu.

Ordered general t'so chicken and it was not spicy at all. The chicken has way to much breading. There's more breading than chicken. The low main was alright. The food isn't fresh either. My order was done in less than 5 minutes. It's not a nice place to sit down and eat either. It's a mess in there. There are boxes everywhere.
