Decent parking area, informative signage, and overall a very pretty place to stop. Just be careful - thru traffic still uses the bridge and they're not always slow!

Not much to do but the view was pretty and the story of the bridge was interesting.

Historic covered bridge not to far off the usual routes in town. The architecture is really cool if your into that kind of thing. Great stop to add some history to your trip.

Really cool history here. The take if this bridge is A young woman named Emily planned to elope with her love. Their meeting place was this same bridge. But when he didn't show, Emily, filled with despair, hanged herself from the rafters of the Gold Brook Bridge. Some really nice picture taking. I wish it were nicer out as it was pouring rain but it didn't put a damper on our excursion. Great bridge to visit with a lot of history and folklore around it.

Something scratched your car? Could you please post a pic?
I think she was murdered made to look like a suicide. Some of my best pictures were taken when I told her what I thought really happen to her. Spirits/ghosts do hear us when we speak. Try it out. Be safe and good luck!
Bring a female with you when you go. Her hate is for men. I have seen images on camera only, mists and plenty of orbs of many colors and a strange oily view that would blank out certain people in group pictures. Very strange indeed. 1 am to 3 am is the best times to go. Bring a camera with a flash. My picture made it to Emilys Bridge facebook page. The other photo I posted on my page. Happy huntings.
It is haunted if u believe in it enough. I've had few experiences. It's not a bad haunted but u can feel emotional pains, sadness, ect...
In my opinion it's best to go mid-day because it's beautiful, and maybe go in like the fall you could get some really beautiful pictures there in the fall
Emily's bridge is not the longest bridge.
A woman jilted by her fiancee hung herself from the rafters a looooong time ago.
The bridge was built in 1844.
Emily was 16 in love with a wealthy boy. A marriage was not approved of. The young people decided to meet at midnight at the bridge to run away. He never showed up and she jumped off the bridge to her death on the rocks below.
