Zak at the Visitor Information Center was great with suggestions. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Their website is also very resourceful with lots of useful information. Can't wait to take our first trip there in October from California!

COME TO STOWE! STOWE VT IS A MAGICAL PLACE WITH WONDERFUL PEOPLE. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG VISITING HERE, AS WE HAVE AGAIN AND AGAIN FOR 30 YEARS. BUT A WORD TO THE WISE: DOUBLE-CHECK ANY INFORMATION YOU GET HERE WITH THE SOURCE.

What a nasty person! I cannot believe the treatment this so called lady gave my family and I. My wife greeted her and she did not have the decency to look up and acknowledge us. Then within a few minutes of our visit my 14 year old pulled down her mask down for a few seconds. When suddenly, the sole Visiting Welcome Center employee rudely asked my daughter to pull her mask up and leave it up. We were a minimum of 20 feet from the Stowe employee and the only patrons during this incident. We left, and I will never go back again! This Visiting Welcome Center should be called the Unwelcome Center!

Located in the center of town, it offers a wealth of information on points of interest throughout Vermont. I had a very specific request. Rain was in the forecast so I wanted to find an indoor event. They made a phone call to get the info I needed. Very friendly.

Hi Barry, Sorry for the delay in responding. Most of retail businesses on Main Street are open until 5 or 6pm. Restaurants and bars are typically open later, usually until 9 or 10pm.

Hello, Here are some popular motel-style properties that accept dogs: Stowe Motel & Snowdrift, Sun & Ski Inn and Suites, Golden Eagle Resort, and the Riverside Inn. There are also hotel and resort style accommodations, along with cabin rentals that accept dogs too! If you visit our STAY page (https://gostowe.com/lodging), there is a filter for "Pet-Friendly" which will show you the full list! If you plan on booking pet-friendly lodging, it will need to be booked over the phone by calling us at (802) 253-7321. We need to verify availability of pet-friendly room types and fill you in on any property policies to be aware of while bringing a pet!
