Nice park with lots of local activities happening in the summer. Pretty river boardwalk too. The parking can be tricky as it is on a one-way road.

This park isn't huge but offers many different things to do....in one day you can see a concert, watch your kids first time getting across a difficult climbing obstacle, and meet a bunch of dogs! Great playground and right next to NH Children's Museum (moved from Portsmouth years ago) Open 5am-1130pm

Nice and small park in Dover. Our kiddo likes it but for some reason kind of gets bored pretty quick. He's only 3 and this playground appears to be meant for older kiddos (5+). There are a few features he likes during the summer though, like the small slides and the water features.

Lots of things to do to grab kids attention. Musical instrument section, small rope course, climbing tower, splash pad in the summer, large boat replica, and even a garden with veggies for kids to pick and eat!

It has been each day I've been in the pool parking lot, maybe rain rhreat?
Yes, the is on-street parking that is free after 7 PM and on the weekends.
From the Dover Library site: "Henry Law was born in England in 1842 and came to Dover at age 21. He owned a harness shop at Central Square, but made his real fortune buying real estate in the area. Mr. Law himself lived a frugal bachelor’s existence in a home on Walnut Street near Washington, but he was eventually able to own all the property from Washington Street to St. Thomas Street (except the Belknap Church and the Masonic Temple). He was an active member of the Park Department and always loved children. His donations to the city built the swimming pool at Bellamy Woods, the wading pool on Payne Street, and he gave the land for the site of the present Recreation Center. He died in 1938, at age 96."
